hows the taste?
Not bad, I tried to copy my favorite juice by digging around the DIY forums. I have my stuff in one reo & my favorite in the other. It is pretty close, close enough for the first attempt! If I can tweak it a little I will be in good shape.

Congratulations on your first DIY. I remember my first one. It tasted better than anything I've made so far. I can't seem to duplicate it. :(

Yeah Terry,
I've heard about that...how members can duplicate their DIY's...
I can only imagine how frustrating it can be...

Always remember though...
Have index cards handy...and always write everything down.
Try again Terry, you never know ;)

Terry :)

Congrats on your first foray into DIY - I really enjoy doing it, and like you, I started out trying to replicate a juice I enjoyed. For me, it was Premium Tobacco (a tobacco/chocolate blend) from ecigexpress. Took me about 3 tries to totally nail it, and my DIY version of it is one of my 3 all-day vapes.

I've put together a little stable of juices for myself and others (I'm 'the guy' for a few family and friends), the recipes for which are here if you'd like to try making some. There's also tons of recipes in the DIY forum here at ECF. DIY is awesome stuff - a creative outlet of sorts - that provides my nic fix as a bonus. Welcome to it!

Whats the start up cost to diy? Also I have heard to be careful on the flavors that you add because some of them are not meant to vape.I'm not brave enough yet to start diying but it is something I'm considering.

I personally spent right at $100.00. I don't know if I will order any new flavors but if not then I have about 6 months or more supply. Maybe even close to 1 year on some items.

It's not too bad, you can start small and build up your 'lab' with each batch. You'll want to start simple anyway - pick a flavor you'd like to make and get the flavorings you'd need for it, some nicotine base, a bottle to put it in, and some syringes or pipettes (like mini-turkey basters) that you can use to transfer the components into the target bottle.

If you look at the recipe list I linked to a couple of posts back, it'll tell you the costs associated with making a 10ml bottle of each recipe. That doesn't include the cost of your syringes/pipettes, but as you can see, it's pretty cheap to get into. If you're just doing little batches, the most expensive part is shipping. :)
