Suppliers can't trust everybody. I would not accept a personal check even though it seems most people on this forum seem very honest. I would take money order or cashier check. You would not believe how many personal checks my husband use to get that were no good but at that point the customer has alredy got the product or received the money. Out of state insufficient or no account checks are almost impossible to collect. The in state ones can be handled by the DA but even some of those are collectable.

Rob is playing his cards,I guess He knows how to hand them.
On my side I sent a check throug the bank, no a personal check. The bank makes the payment, mails the payment, that is how I have paid some of my duties.

I don't think we should make Rob's business, OUR business. Rob has a reputation of providing stellar customer service, and will continue to do so. Around here, Rob is the man.

Hasn't anyone seen The Wizard of Oz? It's not our place to look behind the curtain, only be loyal customers.

Good enough for me......

Now I think about it my husband's business he does accept e-checks which in effect is an electronic check. This usually takes 3-4 days to clear but the suppliers are covered.

Most of the merchant account suppliers I use now accept (and guarantee) electronic checks, assuming you get an approval when entered into your terminal machine.
( I think the transaction happens almost as fast nowdays anyway, as a paper check
is almost the same as a debit card when handled this way. )
