Granted live been away for a bit but when did I have to start paying for samples?
Went to my local store and dude says 25 Cent per sample..igotta pay to pay you to try your sub par juice?????

You can thank the FDA and the deeming regulations for that. No more freebies.

At my stores they have lightened up on the rules/laws(must be a NV thing) they can sample again(for free) and replace coils(but the coil has to be the exact resistance you are replacing).

It's pretty much the same here in central Fl. The stores in my area aren't really enforcing much of anything, other than age checking. Most just have a penny bowl sitting on a counter, supposedly for sampling donations.

I'm also in central Florida and I go to a few shops here in Lakeland to hang out and BS with the owners, people running the shops and customers and a couple of them don't charge for samples but one of the shops charged .10¢ for a lifetime of sampling.

Some of the shops can even build coils so I'll take my coil building stuff (wire, drill and swivels, flush cut pliers, coil jig, cotton and scissors) and build exotic coils for people and all I ask for in return is to pay the shop whatever they think is fair for the coils and installation onto their atty. I don't mind using my wire and equipment to help out both the customers and the shops and I know the money is going to a good cause keeping the B&M shops that have overhead to pay to stay in business or they will donate the money to advocacy so it's going to a good cause either way.

It might not have been sub par juice. You might have found something delicious and if you did it is possible you would have gotten a discount equal to what you would have had to pay for sampling. I wasn't there so can't say how that particular shop is handling the deeming rules.

Be glad you can at least sample the juices lolz over here in quebec you can't vape at all in a vape shop since it's considered the same as smoking so it's buy it and you're stuck with it wether you like it or not. Only way to "sample" i guess is taking a drop and putting it on your tongue which to me dosen't give you the taste you'll have vaping it.

Lots of shops over there in the Orlando area. I used to get to vape meets over there, once in a while. We probably know some of the same people.

Around here most shops are requesting payment for samples.... They don't like it any more than the customers. Freedom Smoke USA does 5 free samples per visit, which I'm not quite sure I understand. They're sort of high volume though, and have been around ages, it may have more to do with staffing levels than deeming.

I like the idea of donating the sample $$ to advocacy.

Vape shop near me doesn't charge for sampling juice. I went in recently looking to try some brands that they carry and they didn't charge for it. Did end up buying one as it was pretty good.

They do have a sign up that they no longer build coils for people as it would violate FDA regs.

I haven't heard anything about regulations for samples. That would explain why Mister E Liquid stopped including sample bottles in their orders though.

I asked them about that a while back when I got my order and expecting samples I didn't get. They did say it was cause of the regulations. I did order a few sample juices (10ml) from Vape Wild and they sent me like 3-4 samples of their line along with a sample of a mystery flavor (a flavor that is new to their line but haven't gave it a name or put out for sale yet).
