Thank you for your order. Your order number is 4176, placed 02/11/2011 at 10:07PM.

I got the ProVari, 3 batts & the charger. They were out of some attys & cartos but I need to learn about them anyway. Are some brands better than others? I want to try both in reg and LR. And what the heck is a Clearomizer?

Oh ohhh... Looks like I shoulda put this in the Pre-order thread???

Congratz! Now you can join the long suffering masses over the next 3 weeks.....lol. Really though, it goes fast. LR is not necessary or even really desired with variable voltage devices. Raising the voltage accomplishes the exact same thing as lowering your atty resistance and it doesn't use as much battery power to do it. Also, you will not be able to use an LR atty much above 3.5V, since the Provari has a protection circuit that activates at 2.5 amps (3.5Volts /1.4ohm atty= 2.5 Amps) So most people use 2.6-3.2 ohm attys/cartos. This allows us to cover the full voltage range of the unit without going over the 2.5A limit. I am waiting for the Provari also, but I do have a VV device and my personal preference right now is 3.0-3.2ohm E2 Clearomizer or the MAP tank which also runs on a CE2. A Clearomizer is a clear plastic CE2 carto that is refillable just like any CE2(syringe/small needle). They work well and don't have the burny taste of the metal CE2's. You can check out both at Clouds of Vapor, but don't expect them to have much in stock, since these things go really fast. I have kinda gotten away from my old Dripping ways since both have come out. Hope this helps you get started.

No, COV has MAP tanks exclusively. Don't worry, he gets them in weekly, usually Tuesday afternoon. They go fast and you literally have to watch the MAP Tank thread in the COV area. But you have some time to get your goodies together. Remember, when you do find them...3.2ohm MAP which hold 5ml or 3.0-3.2ohm Clearomizer XL which hold 2ml or close to that. You can replace the CE2 in the MAP when it dies with standard CE2R4 XL cartos, by removing the case. Both are pretty options depending on how much juice you want to load at one time.
