Paypal Fee for supporting member

OK, this is weird.
We are supposed to be able to pay this $24 fee with Paypal but when I click on support ECF above and select pay via paypal it shows that the funds will be deducted from my checking account. Nothing about Paypal.
HUH? Please explain why it does not offer the Paypal option.

That is up to your PayPal preferences. My PayPal acct. is set up to deduct from my PayPal balance first and from a linked account if there is not enough on Balance.

Well, tried this morning and it worked!
Now I feel better that I'm supporting this great site and meeting other vapers
