Pictor, I doubt we are dealing with the same issue since, if I read correctly, you're PG sensitive and I'm not. 50PG/50VG is my happy place. Could be though. Tell ya what, I'll build a silica wicked coil on one of my Tridents in the next day or two and see if I experience the issue again. I'm betting not, I think it was related to cotton for me. Yup, me too. As with anything all of this is very subjective to the individual's experience. Whatever works for you may not be good for somebody else! Hope I didn't come off as EVERYONE MUSTZ USES THE RAYONZ!!!

Noooo! ....a tester of all things scientific!

Hard to know, but someone on the UK forum did suggest I could be sensitive to the silica wicks ..he's making me some rayon ones when he gets around to it.
Something definitely keeps making my lungs feel like they turned to concrete half way ...It's likely the small amountsof PG I use added to a little congestion from the VG, but could be something else too - I'm just happy to try whatever may make it easier!
All I know is, it goes away if I don't vape for a short while .....comes back when I do.

Just bought some on a whim after stopping by one of the local high end B&M's last week to ogle the toys. Being me and loving to tinker, and since I had had read about it, I decided to give it a shot. Haven't touched the KGD or for that matter the CC since doing so. No break in what so ever!

Well, You don't do drippers do ya? Next time you re-wick one of your Reo's, wet the wick and hit it before squonking and than let it sit for a few minutes and hit it again. Tell me if you taste a difference.....

I find theres a little break in period with KGD, maybe 2-3 toots, but not nearly as bad as cotton

Edit: I was referring to drippers too. me and Blotto on the same time/space continuum

On another note, it sure seems to wick way better and doesn't taste anywhere near as nasty if you happen to run dry.

More like elongated cotton candy like what used to come in packages at the store. Very easy to work with as well.

Got some cotton bacon yesterday. Wicked up a KFL+ and so far so good. Ive only tried it with some Home Slice but the taste seems to be better than KGD.
First toot was super clean. No break in period unlike KGD. Far easier to use than regular cotton but KGD still wins in the ease of use department. Rayon is going in the garage until I find someone who wants 2 lifetime supplies of it. Im giving cotton bacon 2

I also ordered another box of KGD. Bring on the vapeocalypse!!!

Glad it works for you Mota! I've been pretty much wicking everything with it as of late. True the KGD is easy to just fold and roll but, the CB doesn't have anywhere near the nasty taste that KGD has if you happen to pull it down too far. The "no break in" is also a big bonus.
