PCC making hissing noises?

I received my JOYE510 today; so far I like it.

Anyhow, I filled my PCC with the atty, carts and battery. When I plug the PCC into the outlet I hear a hissing noise coming from the wall plug. Changing outlets doesn't help.

Has anyone heard of this? Whatever the case may be (ha! I made a pun) it doesn't sound very safe.

It doesn't sound safe, and I wouldn't plug it in. The batteries in these things can explode (literally) or catch fire. Call the vendor you bought it from and get an exchange.

I agree %100, any decent vendor will swap it out. Dont take the risk, cheap electronics have been known to catch on fire without notice.
