PCC question

Hi everyone,

I received my PCC a few days ago and I've noticed some strange behavior with my manual batteries. After the batteries fully charge in the PCC, they won't turn on the first few times I hit the button. After that, they will work normally. The batteries work on the first try if I charge them with the wall charger, so I'm a little concerned.

Has anyone else experienced this? Do you think I sould be concerned?

Strange, my PCC doesn't do that. Maybe yours is overcharging or something?

Just to eliminate a possible battery issue, have you tried different batteries?

Also, are you getting the same charge (ie # hours of vaping) from a PCC-charged battery as you get from your wall-charged battery?

sounds like you got a little juice on the connectors- no prob.

Just get a q tip and wipe clean the connector inside the PCC where the bat connects and wipe off all battery and atty connections.

a little juice will stop contact- but wiping it off usually fixxes it.

Well, I guess I'll try to clean the connectors and call the place I bought it from if it keeps happening. It's under warranty still, so I guess it's best to deal with any issues now. I think I get about the same charge with the PCC or the wall, so that's not a big issue. I'm just worried about my batteries suffering an untimely death due to the PCC.

Yes, this sounds like the solution. I have the same problem from time to time. It is best to keep Q-Tips on hand and clean the battery connection every time you put it on charge. The juice leaks out at the bottom of the atomizer and gets on the contacts of the battery. The normal charger doesn't have a problem with this but the PCC does.

Quick question about the PCC, I just got mine the other day. So if I put a spent battery in there and it charges fully so that the red light goes off, is it ok to keep it sitting in there until I need it? Or does keeping it in there draw power from the PCC still?

I imagine I should be able keep it in there once charged but I figured I would ask to make sure.

I keep mine there and just rotate the battery out as I need them. They charge until the one I am using needs charging. I haven't had any battery problems and I've been using the PCC for about two months.

Found the problem: I'm leaving the batteries in too long and they're getting over charged

every 510 do that , if you remove your batterie from your charger while it charge (any charger pcc , usb or wall ,) the batterie will take about 5 to 10 sec to start (if you press the manual button). All mine doing that

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I was freaking out because all of mine were doing it even though I was using a timer for the charger.

This shouldn't be possible.

Theres a charge controller with the battery - its what makes it a "protected" battery. It prevents under-charging as well as over-charging.

I'd say something else is the issue here.
