Somebody got a wrong-size (too small) hex key in their hex&screws baggie. They spent a long time struggling with it. They got 2 atties tho, and tried the other hex on the off chance. Worked great. Side by side comparison revealed that the first hex was just flat out too small. I sincerely hope this is a one-off mistake; but, bear this experience in mind if your capture screws aren't tightening down nicely. And please let me know!
Some folks (I've learned through PMs) are waiting for some customer feedback on how the rimless/lipless V2 behaves itself on an LP Grand. A couple brief shares on what it's like to use the new design on a Grand (LP, I imagine, but either would be valuable) would be much appreciated here (by your fellow BF vapers and REOnauts). Pics are nice too.

I'm running it on a REO mini 2.1 LP right now and it's great. The fit is flush, the AFC doesn't turn unless I turn it and the flavor is good. I either haven't over squonked or it's a tight enough fit that it doesn't leak because there hasn't been any juice around the bottom of the cap. It's been a non-issue for me.

I received my Nuppin' this afternoon, only had about 5 mins to work with so built a single coil 1.0ish coil on it and slapped it on my TRA LP. Fabulous vape. The AFC sits flush against the mod and looks like it was built for it. I am more than impressed with it and can't wait for some time to craft a dual coil on it. Since this is my first Nuppin', The o-rings hold everything tight, I can even pick it up by the atomizer. There is absolutely no slop in the fit or finish.Since this is my first exposure I cannot compare it to the first run.

A little feedback about the new rimless change.
After 2 days of use I looked at the top of my LP Grand and found that the afc sleeve is carving a ring on the top of the LP from adjusting the airflow back and forth. When turned the friction of the turning sleeve against the top of the MOD is making a circle. Not a big deal but thought I would mention. I kind of like the rimmed setup a bit better but still very happy with the V2. Just my

Tried a Nuppin on a Non low profile grand, just for kicks. As suspected, doesn't work. No thread engagement.
However, after converting my Grand to LP, it work great and looks great too.
I got mine yesterday. Extremely high quality design & execution.
I didn't have time to give it the attention it deserved, but I couldn't just sit there looking at it on my desk either.
I noticed a new dual twisted 26ga coil laying on my desk and thought, this won't take but a few minutes. Single coil at 0.55 Ohms. Parked on a Peko.
Wicked w/Japanese cotton covering the deck.
I was used to 22mm atties, and the first time I squonked it I thought it was going to squirt across the room.
Initially it popped like I lit a string of firecrackers every time I vaped it.
After 5ml it calmed down and is a pretty great vape. Probably not the optimum build for it, but I think that coil will last a year or more!

I'm not suggesting that people run this atty on a regular Grand. It's not designed for that. One can, perhaps; but it's really putting all tolerances at the brink.
I did that ↑ so that I could reduce chamber size on my own mod. That too, however, is pushing the tolerances and perhaps an "advanced user's" setup.

Nope, I did not. I considered it, but decided it really wasn't a good fix for the true problem. I always run an oring under the Atty to create a good seal and prevent leakage. This resulted in not enough OD thread engagement in the REO 510 connector. Since I was at work, I just had the REO converted to LP, something I had planned to do at some point anyway.
Was this a V1 Nuppin, because the V2 base should fit inside the catch cup of a Grand or Mini 2.1. It fits in a last run Woodvil.

The base will work fine on a non-LP. The top cap does not slip down far enough and would come off in a pocket. This was with no adjustment to the pin. I personally will not use it on a regular Grand.

I'm sure there would be quite a few V1 nuppin' owners that would be willing to trade the rimmed bottom for a non-rimmed version. You'd just need to ask in the main thread.

I love my rimless Nuppin V2 and it looks great on the LP REO. It produces flavorful plumes of vapor. And I love that there is no overhang for a cleaner look.
