Don't vape PEG. PEG's are ethoxylated PG. They use PEG's to dissolve oils so they can disperse them in water- some of them are thick so they act as a thickener as well. There are a lot of different PEG's, and they're all a little bit different, but generally that's what they're used for.

The problem with PEGs or anything ethoxylated is that there's usually some dioxin left in the solution. Dioxin is really nasty stuff- you don't want it anywhere near you.

Dioxin - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It's not ALWAYS in a PEG, but you might want to email the seller and ask about dioxin before you put it in your lungs.

The greatest use of PEG is to treat wood to make it dimensionally stable and protect it from the outside elements. When you see a porch or deck constructed with green-tinted lumber, it's been treated with PEG.
The stuff is cheap, you can get 5 gallons of it for under 50 bucks. And vaping it will keep your lungs free of termites! ;)

Wow! I learned something new about them. I've used them in some topical formulas before but didn't know they'd keep my lungs termite free! BONUS!!!!!

I think there are some scare tactics involved with PEG's, which is why I don't generally avoid them for topical things- but there's a difference between using it on your deck, or a cleanser, and inhaling them.

LOL-

There are a lot of different types of PEG- I have PEG-7 that I use in some things, and some PEG-100 distearate that's in pellet form. It's not like VG where everyone has essentially the same stuff- PEGs vary quite a bit.

Just sayin' it's probably worth a quick email to the supplier to ask about the certificate of analysis before you start vaping them. Most chemicals are shipped with a COA- so it shouldn't be too much of an issue.
