Pen style caps fit RN4081 atomizer - excellent for dripping

The only real complaint I have with my RN4081 is that holding the plastic filter in my teeth becomes uncomfortable. I was ready to order a 901 just for the whistle tip then good fortune accidentally fell in my lap.

I got a sample pack from JohnsonCreek and it came with a box of five cores for a pen style. I took apart one of the pen style cores and tried to slide the mouthpiece over the RN4081 cartridge and it wouldn't fit but I noticed it seemed to be around the same diameter as the cart.

So I slid the cart off and sure enough the whistle style mouthpiece from the pen cart fit perfectly on the atomizer. Well perfectly in regards to diameter. It does not even come close to covering the entire atomizer the way the RN4081 carts do.

There is an added bonus. The hole in the RN4081 cart is pretty small and as a result there is a bit of a harder draw when using it. The pen style has a very nice big opening and gives such an easy draw. It is practically like sucking directly on the atomizer.

I just thought I would throw out a heads up for anybody that was sharing my frustration at holding such a fat filter in their teeth.

I used the rubber tip that came with the mini pipe today, on my super mini. Works great thanks for that tip!

Great to know! I have some carts for my supermini that I am allergic to so I will need to use hard plastic and if I don't have any supermini carts in hard plastic... now I can use the penstyle too! I usually drip with that anyway!

I just cant believe how much more comfortable the whistle style tip is. This saved me a bunch of money because I was right on the verge of buying a 901 just for a whistle style tip.
