Killer deal at ecigsupply.com on a penstyle. Only $27.95!!
Dse-801
While you're there, might want to try out a few of the the low bridge Joye 302 penstyle attys for it... these are really FAB and work great with 801 stuff.

He also has some great juice deals right now

The RN4072 Pen from myPVshop.com is my primary vaping device. IMO, cannot be beat for flavor, vapor, battery life & large carts.

bless u for telling me that..;)

im sooooooo hoping that it beats my 401 mini cigs that ive got..

i started vaping on dec 2nd of this yr ,and so far have in my collection 2 smoke everywhere ecigs

and 2 nova smoke ecigs

they are just ok to me, nothing to scream about, but they get the job done as im still analog free.

well, i take that back, while in paris france over the holidays i cheated and smoked a analog as i wanted to try a french ciggy...i felt guilty, like i let myself down, but ya know what they say? when in rome do as they do lol eh?

now that im back home im clean again( no analogs) lol

i ordered this penstyle because I wanted something that would bring me more pleasure than the mini ecigs i have now, and ive heard good things about the penstyle ecigs.

i cant wait until it gets here.

Mypvshop sells the RN that has a little harder draw and rockymountainvapor sells the SLB that has a very light draw.

Both are good IMHO and my main e-cig. The Penstyle in my experience is reliable and dependable and produces a nice amount of vapor. The trick is to drag on it lightly until the cut off flashes.
I have been thru most brands of e-cigs and this one always stays my favorite.
Good luck and don't get too frustrated all e-cigs have good and bad days.
Another little tip is to take it apart every night to drain the atomizer and battery.

Hellen, you've praised the Joye 302 in other posts as well. I am on a continuing quest for the optimium (reliable, consistent) penstyle. At it's best, I love the 801, but it falters too often. I recently tried the M201 and loved it (reminded me a bit of the 801 on my Prodigy). But the two attys I had each died within three to four days.

How would you describe the Joye 302 ... in comparison with the DSE 801, for example?

Thanks!

Hi Don! I won't buy DSE801 attys any more!

The draw is great on these, as is the vapor. Two mfg's make them. I like both.

Joye: 2 larger holes in the brass atty threading, seems to me to be a slightly lighter draw.

Boge: 3 or 4 (forget) tiny holes cut out of the top of the atty threads near the metal rim, bit stiffer draw.

Both produce great vapor, and of course have a very wide, low bridge.

One of our social group members bought a few 302s from Chad (ecigsupply, don't forget he has coupon codes if you order!) at our last meeting and couldn't believe how great they were. I'd been telling him to get them for months. :p

The atty tube length is just slightly shorter than the DSE801, and the carts for those will usually work in the 302 (old hard tip RN4072 carts may be loose, rubber tip 801 fit fine) but I suggest you buy some 302 carts when you can for the correct fit. 302 carts are hard tip (which I like better than the rubber tip carts) and they're also slightly longer to get down to the low bridge.

Just let me know if I missed something! (Edit: BTW Don, what cart filler are you using in the 801 and are you using a straw?)

ive been bit lazy about not draining,,,i most of the time blow them out, etc..

ive got to find a place to let the atty sit to drain out, but i worry about my 3 cats knocking them over etc lol

i guess the guest room on the window seal might be a good place to let them drain..going to try it

thanks for the heads up

Thank you, Hellen!

I don't use carts at all; I just drip. [NOTE: I perform the activity of dripping; I am not a drip!:D ß sounds like Nixon's I am not a crook!8-o]

You didn't "miss" anything. I just have two follow-up questions:
1. Since I don't use carts, are any of the distinguishing attributes of the 302 relevant for me? For example, is it more consistent and reliable than the 801? Similar vapor, flavor, and throat hit?

2. Have you ever used the M201? If so how would you compare it to the 302? I've tried two M201 attys recently: during the first three days, each performed marvelously and then died. [Fortunately the M201 battery works equally well with an 801-compatible.] But I enjoyed that total of six days so much, I haven't necesarily given up on it ... unless the 302 is my dream come true.:)
Thanks again, H!

I'm answering ya in red Don

Thank you, Hellen!

lol... well, I love carts with the penstyle! Since I found AquaClear foam especially. Way better cart filling (I use it in the 510 as well). Wicks great. This may just be what you are missing with the penstyle attys! Good cart filler which makes for a nice long vape.

more consistent and (so far) more reliable than the 801. It is all in the flat low bridge I think. Seems to carry down the liquid under the pot better.
2. Have you ever used the M201? If so how would you compare it to the 302? I've tried two M201 attys recently: during the first three days, each performed marvelously and then died. I haven't tried the M201. No need  since I've found my best atty!!

If you kill off the 302, I'd say it is time to get going back with carts Don!! The biggest killer of attys is going dry. The only attys I've ever killed quick are ones I tried to drip with. I gave up and went back to carts (but still add a drop or two to the bridge on occasion with the cart on).

I've had one 302 die after more than 4 weeks of hard use. The rest are still cookin' or waiting for a nice long soak to clean up in PGA.

Thanks again, H!
Any time! Let me know what you think if you get some to try!

edit: BTW Don! Congrats on your Vapy Award!!! Well deserved!

Helen, I ordered the atty's !! woohoo I can't wait to get them now. I have a feeling you have the perfect Penstyle set up.....What battery model do you use..RN or SLB? If I could guess it's an auto..Right?
Most people like the manual but I just cant get mine to charge up right with the adapter for some reason....Human (Betty) error I,m sure..LOL
My RN auto's are crazy vapor makers..

PS, Is the 302 a Janty classic atomizer?

Hi Betty!
I use stock batteries only once in a while these days (bought manual button 801 so liquid can't get inside them). Gotta say the auto batteries do make better vapor though!

I've switched over to 3.7v battery mods. Use the Chuck, Little Chuck, Chameleon, PureSmoker 5v passthroughs (have several), a Cisco laser mod, and once in a while a Protégé (having problems with it, switch.... sighhh).

If you are tired of paying for stock batteries, try out a Little Chuck or Chuck (you could put your avatar on it... Jeff at Thagbuilt.com does custom units for $80). www.thagbuilt.com (go to the bottom of the page to see examples of the designs he's done for people, click to enlarge) or see http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e-cigarette-suppliers-forum/33735-how-spend-saturday.html (loooong but fun read) and meet the Chuckleheads. LOL Jeff just won the Vapy award for best 3.7v Commercial mod and best High Volt Commercial Mod.
