Hello all..I am 12 days smoke free and have really become obsessed with vaping as I love it!!! I have a local brick n mortar shop that I have been going to for juice. I've tried a bunch of flavors from fruits to tobacco to mints and menthols. Over these days I have come to realize that the peppermint flavor is my favorite and all day vape it. The other flavors don't mimic my Newport habit as well as the mint. My shop is more expensive than online vendors so I'm trying to find an online vendor with a good peppermint so I can buy more in bulk. Right now I'm using 100% vg 18mg/ml. Anyone else a peppermint lover? And do you have any online choices you think I may enjoy? I want to try a pg/vg mix as I like having a throat hit. I appreciate any feedback!!!

Peppermint is my all day vape and I DIY. I got a peppermint flavor from The Flavor Apprentice and mix 20% peppermint to 80% unflavored nic juice. You can get the juice (base) from any of a number of online suppliers.

I also have an awesome cinnamon that I use at 5%, but it is like candy and tastes great, but being so sweet I can only vape it for an hour or so before going back to my peppermint.

I smoked Newports too and love menthol, mint e-juices. They're my all day vape flavors.

I get my juices from Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes, USA made E Juice, and Accessories

They have ALOT of menthol and mint flavors including but not limited to - Menthol, Extreme Ice, Candy Cane, all kinds of deserts with mint. etc.

Like always Im vaping on some Menthol now, I just ordered some Extreme Ice, Thug Juice (menthol and fruit) and Choco Mint.

They're really inexpensive too, 50ml costs $10.50 and they throw you a free 15ml of any e-juice when you spend 15 bucks. Fastest shipping I've experienced too- it only takes 2 days for my order to get from Washington state to Georgia.

I very much enjoy peppermint flavors as well. You won't hear me say this about Blue Mist for anything else, and I've tried about 25 of theirs, but their peppermint is my favorite of the 4 or 5 I've tried. Their Hypermint is also extremely tasty, kind of a wintergreen and spearmint mix. They are one of the cheaper vendors as well, but other than these 2, like almost anything in this world, you get what you pay for!

I actually just got some halo Kringle kurse and halo mystic to test out. Heard good things about both...one candy cane style and one menthol style. Plus I've only had 100% vg juice so far and am looking for something more powerful n I've heard halo has some good flavor n throat hit. Waiting for mail now. Anyone have these? I'm 15 days new to Vaping so I'm excited to try something a little more powerful than my current peppermint.

I am looking for a good peppermint also. Could you post back on how you like the Halo Kringle kurse?

You will love kringle's curse, very nice taste and TH. I've been thinking about trying the mystic, let me know what you think of it.

I'll second the Kringle's Curse. I voted it my fav menthol of 2012. Pure peppermint delicousness, with some sweetness. Mystic was one of the best menthol/mint too. Halo is the king of mint/menthol to me. I only order from them when they offer free 10ml sample of their newest flavor, as they tend to run on the move expensive side.

I should be getting the KK and Mystic today or tomorrow in the mail...I will give you my impressions. I don't have much experience with different flavors and pg/vg % but I do have very picky tastes. I sampled a ton of flavors at my local BM store and really only found 2 flavors I like and I did try many flavors that majority of people love. What I've noticed is with my 100% VG (that my store sells) is that it isn't strong enough for me and I suspect thats due to the 100% VG. It just feels too airy to me, especially once my atty heats up from say 10mins of straight vaping. I feel the flavor isn't strong enough for me and the throat hit gets weak over time as well..the vapor is great but I personally care more about the TH and flavor...so I'm thinking these Halo's will be much better for my tastes since most say the flavor is strong and have good throat hit from the PG. Honestly Halo is cheaper than my local store (overhead added into cost) but I am always willing to pay more for quality, especially when its as important as Vaping is to keep me off analogs...and now with my taste buds coming back its even more important. I will update as soon as I tackle the postman!

Pg can make quite a difference in throat hit, as can raising the nic content. Mint/menthols also tend to provide a little more oomph.

OK..update...Just got my Halo Kringles Curse and Mystic in the mail today (both 18mg). (FYI-Shipping USPS Priority from NJ to Philadelphia took 3 days, ordered Tuesday afternoon). Both Juices arrived freezing cold so let the steeping begin. Just to test I vaped each and both have absolutely no flavor. I opened the bottles to breath for the next couple days. Just for fun I'm going to test every 6-12 hours. (this is all new to me so I'm trying to have fun with it)

I've seen that you can speed up the steeping process using rolling hot water, sitting open bottles in it, close, shake every 20-30 mins until water cools. Anyone using Halo juice find that this steep cheat works or should I just stick with grandfather time. I have a really nice Peppermint from Vaporphoxxe (Peppermint Janet) so I'm not desperate for juice right now. I wouldn't want to warm up my Halo and find out I messed it up compared to natural steeping.

I will update on my taste tests over this holiday weekend. Appreciate any feedback!

PS: If you are looking for a strong Peppermint, try the Vaporphoxxe "Peppermint Janet". Its made in-house @ 100% VG so it plumes vapor, and since its strong mint you get a good throat tingle from the mint even though its all VG. I highly recommend it as it does not require steeping time (it will get fuller over time). They are a brick and mortar store so prices are higher than average but speaking of this peppermint it's worth it IMO. Their Peppermint Cream is also very good, a little sweeter than the Janet.

Back to update on how the Halo Kringle Curse and Mystic are going. First off, I really think the shipping in the colder then normal temps here in the mid-atlantic (Philly) caused some flavor issues with my order. I got a 30ml of the Kringle and a 7ml of the Mystic. They arrived on last Thursday and both had absolutely zero flavor.

NOTE: I am using Tornado-T (ego style with cone attys and 1.1ml tanks)

I've been steeping both in a dark cabinet with the lids OFF and giving them a good shake each day. Now the Mystic had a best used date of 12/7/13 and the Kringle had a date of 12/27/13 so lets assume they were made on those dates last month. I noticed on Sunday that the Mystic had begun to have a slight flavor note, particularly on exhale. The Kringle by Sunday was still completely flavorless.

Yesterday the Mystic really started to come alive and the flavor notes blossomed on inhale and exhale. Although its not very strong or overpowering like many say Halo flavors produce. As of today the Kringle is getting a VERY slight candy cane taste but it is extremely dull. Most have said that Halo juices usually need a week minimum to steep and sometimes it can take a few weeks.

I just started Vaping 3 weeks ago so I have little experience with different "rigs". Now I have some other juices I get from my local BM store which don't require longterm steeping and they are 100%VG. From what I've read VG juices can lack flavor compared to PG mixes. So I've just been assuming flavors are going to be muted and not quite "popping". Now after a few weeks of using this Tornado I'm starting to think its not the juice but rather these attys. So I went today and grabbed the semi-new "Kanger T3 EgO Bottom Coil Clearomizer" from my local shop. I threw in some of my Peppermint VG and HOLY GOD it was a whole new experience!!! The flavor popped bigtime and the vapor is insane...plus it is sooo easy to draw on this sucker!

So now that I have the right equipment I am going to go back tonight after work and test the Halo's to see if the atty's were causing the flavor loss..which is what I suspect. I'm sure the Halo's could use more steeping but at least now I can give an accurate test. I'm kinda ...... I didn't move to this sooner..live and learn.

So unfortunately my kringle still has absolutely zero flavor after 1 week of steeping (lid off and on with daily shaking, in a dark cabinet) I even took about 5mls and sat in hot water as some say this can speed up the process. I'm ...... cause I got the kringle in 30 ml and the mystic which has good flavor in only 7. Disappointed. Guess ill just forget about it and come back in a month. I thought my new kanger T3 would have helped but no luck. It's strange because the odor of the liquid is strong candy cane.
