Percentages of Flavor

I am having a hard time figuring out the flavor percentages to use in DIY. I ordered a 30 ml bottle with 2 extra shots from Baker vaper and asked what was the percentage so I could try making it the same way. They won't tell me. They just say start at 15% and goes to 40%. Does anyone know how much a shot is?

You need to say that again, no clue what you're talking about. Was that a bottle of pre-mixed juice you bought? Are you trying to make juice the same as the bottle you bought? Were the extra shots included in the bottle? If you were asking them for their recipe I'm pretty sure they won't tell you. Why should they. That's how they make their living. Did you buy flavoring from them?

Here's a good guess: a Mt. Baker flavor shot is 5% of total volume.

If the base flavor is 15% of volume, and they offer from 1-5 flavor shots, and they top out at 40% of total volume, then it stands to reason that they add 5% with each shot.

That's where the making of small testers with different flavoring percentages comes in to play. All of the flavoring I have purchased say what the recommended mix rate is. Then there are several ecf threads that will give you the percentages also. I always start with much lower than recommended and do a couple of increased flavoring testers. Helps you find that certain point where your own taste buds jump for joy.

I made a batch of testers the other day. My first try. I started with to high of %'s. The flavors are a bit overwhelming. I made three samples of each flavor @ different %'s. I think they would be okay if I could dilute them down a bit. I'd like to combine the three samples into one and dilute it down. How would I go about doing that? Just add pg/vg until it tastes good?

Yes I purchase a pre mixed eliquid already made, as well as flavors, nicotine, vg/pg and DIY from them. So I really didn't see what it would hurt their business in assisting me with percentage of flavor used in making this, if anything it would have made me a happy returning customer to get their assistance.
