Hello Everyone,
This of course is my first post and I until last week (my son gave me a Volcano Inferno), have thought many times to, but never tried to join the ecig community. After smoking regular cigarettes for well over 35 years (half a pack), it has taken days to successfully convert over. I find myself still having one a day, but love this.

Also, after having tried patches and gum, this is absolutely fantastic. I'm amazed that the anti smoking community doesn't embrace this.

Anyway, I ordered a new Volt X2 650 battery and am going to try the clearomizer (I think that's right) setup.

Welcome and glad that you're here! You'll find that quite a few members here have smoked for decades and have gone through endless gimmicks to quit, suddenly they find vaping and their done with the smokes. It is remarkable! Best of luck and don't be afraid to ask questions, someone is always willing to help, we've all been there.

I am als new and working on stopping the analogs. I am getting very close - waiting on some further carts to arrive so I can find what I really like, and make the "break" away so to speak.

Since I am new, I can tell you the support / people here are just great. There is a TON of information here - most all questions will be answered just by reading.

When I stop the analogs, I am going to put the banner in my signature as a reminder to myself how long I have been analog free!

Thanks everyone, Holy Hanna – sooo many replies and I just posted. Thank you for the warm welcome. I think I’m getting the “Vapors”.

For quitting, it is of course the addiction to nicotine, which I have on many occasions denied, but the big one being the mechanics of the Smoking Ritual.

Using these wonderful instruments have instantly cured me of “Burning the Trash”. No more smoke clinging to my cloths, smokers breathe…. this is the cure.

The longer you go it only gets better and easier. I think it is getting the nicotine as well as staying busy fiddling with the device and carto and tank and such that keeps your hands busy that helps. When you quit and get a few more posts put a banner of some type as your signature to keep track. It helps me to look at it and the money is enough but when I look at the thousands of cigarettes I didn't smoke in only a couple of months it reinforces the positives of vaping.
