I know I don't need full strength flavor, I started cutting my 24mg liquids down to 12mg, cutting the flavor in half too, over a year ago because I wasn't going to throw them out. Still tastes good, in most cases better than full flavored. I also only use vg to cut with, so I think the increased cloud helps with less flavor.

No over my initial rage I've been reevaluating things a bit. There is a bright side in a sense.
We now have something to actually fight in court and the current Rico case against the former FDA head can give us some ammo if used right.
We have a potential powerful ally in the premium cigar industry which mirrors the makeup of the vape industry in that it's largely small businesses. They have lawyers already working on lawsuits.
We also still have time and some ally's in congress that can help. We need to write to Cole , hunter and all the cosponsers of the amendment and HR 2058 encouraging them to push HARD.
Donate to cassa and other groups to help build up the legal fund needed for the coming court battles.
Rage is understandable but panic is not needed. Don't rush the shops unnecessarily and create a vaping depression of sorts making it hard to get stuff we need.

Warning: this post may make you sad/mad. It is not intended to, it is actually intended to be somewhat hopeful. However, if you don't want to read it, I'll understand. This also isn't meant to say that I'm giving up on the petition, I just want to keep expectations in check. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

There will likely be a time when vape supplies are not readily available. There will always be ways to get them, but it won't be as simple as googling vapor and picking an online store. B&Ms will likely disappear. There will be MANY smokers who will not have a viable option to vape instead.
Now for the good news. There are too many of us for this knowledge and movement to disappear. It may take decades, we may be the next group of silly "green" heads lobbying to get their activity legalized, but that is something to take heart in. The world is changing. It may take years of protesting and lobbying and being called addicts, but the truth is the truth, and in the age of information, it can't be eradicated. Mourn the loss of vaping for those who haven't found it yet, it will return. Prepare yourselves for the long haul. We'll all be around a lot longer than we would have if we hadn't found vaping.

When I first started vaping, there were no B&M's. If there were, they were VERY few. I don't have a problem with that. It was nice while it lasted.
As far as internet stores....... somehow I think they won't all disappear. They may be hard to get to though.

Not a problem Les, you are just calling it as you see it, and I pretty much see it the same way.
I'm am hopeful that things will get better, but am readying myself for the worst.

Thinking of making some small purchases, drip tips I wanted to try, whatever, from FT and then throwing the packages in a box. Down the line I can pull a package out and have vape mail when the withdraws become overwhelming.You and me both FT. 'specially if I was having to buy the Vanilla Custard that has been my favorite for well over a year

I don't throw anything away, I've still got my non-functional vamos from 3 years ago, along with my protank and spare heads I think, unless I payed those forward. There are machinists on this board, and people who are involved in many hobbies that can be borrowed from. We'll all get by with a little help from our friends

Don't know overall how well it will it work for us, hasn't been turned in yet. Almost time to do it, just not quite yet. It's meant for after the regs are published.
People do care, that's why people are out there busting their butts trying to change this. It ain't over until it is over and it ain't over yet.
One of the beauties of the petition is that thousands of people who signed are getting updates as to what is going on and what they can do. When the petition ends, so will the updates, to the best of my knowledge. Spreading knowledge is not a failure.
The petition may not do much by itself but it will be another thorn in their side. Personally, I hope they get covered with thorns.

Trying to stay optimistic, just not willing to throw in the towel yet, or ever actually. Really, I'm waiting to see what the big wigs (esp. lawyers) have to say. This thread gives some humor, usually, and it's nice to see people still signing the petition.
Agreed! We also need to support each other through all the frustration and anger. Hang in there.
