In all of the talk, petitions, videos, movies that have been released over the last 2 years, there is one vital point that I do not see being addressed.

device safety advances that have been industry instituted since 2007.

Variable voltage & variable wattage, kicks, etc., will all go away along with every device that has built in protections. Nothing will be left except the evil mechanical mods that keep showing up on the front page headlines & nightly news in burned pieces. Why is anyone addressing safety regarding liquid content & safety, talking about a safer alternative, without including device safety as well? Oh wait....cigalikes.
Idk, will device safety be an issue if there isn't anything to put in it?

I have heard a few people, Greg Conley I think at the very least, mention that we would lose all of the safety advancements that have been made.

The FDA doesn't care how safe, or relatively harmless vaping is.

Les, did you what the Phil and Dimitri video? They said that the best thing for vaping would be to get ecigs in their own category. They don't fall under tobacco and they are not a drug. They need to be defined on their own.

Hopefully between what they are saying now and what we have been saying for the past year it will get done. I am not holding my breath but one can still hope and pray and fish for MORE supporters.

edited to add: wouldn't it be great if they would tell all their viewers about this petition since we are already trying to do it.

I haven't yet, because it's what, like an hour and a half? But, it's about :censored: time!

Unfortunately I don't think anyone believes this will be accomplished during the Congressional Review period, though that was always the original intention of this.

It at least appears that there is a plan, and maybe some inroads on getting a bill introduced sometime next year. I don't know, no specifics were given and I may be putting hopeful thoughts into it.

I'm just glad they're not all singing the "mitigate the damage" song anymore.

This is a Definite point of contention!!!!
Canada is already in Discussions on Regulation in a Stand alone Category - NOT a Tobacco Product.:glare:

Easy to Accept reason for fighting for this Change.
Millions of Over Priced Health insurance Policies.<<<<<<<Forced Obamacare
Millions of Over Priced Life Insurance Policies.
Tobacco Users are required to pay Higher Premiums.
Nicotine has become an Artificial Gateway Claim to Charge Higher Rates.

Breaking this Chain of LIES alone means more Family income without artificially increasing cost of living.

I know you said that you were thinking about submitting this in a week or so but maybe it would be best to wait a bit longer now that more eyes are being opened as to what we are up against.
Yeah, I'd love more signatures. I'd love "official" backing(that's never going to happen, they've sung the 'petitions are useless' tune too many times). Congressional review is 60 days I believe, so there is a window, unless we just keep the petition going for the future whatever they have planned.
