@AlexEdler, if you mean the petition itself, the count keeps going up, slowly, but no word from the petition's author is a while. :( At this point just trying to keep the spirit alive and try to make people aware, as several other threads are, that vapers' rights are are/going to be severely curtailed. @Lessifer has given the petition results printout to those trying to make a difference where it counts. Don't see anything making a difference in the May deeming deadline. Stock up and protect yourself! Nobody cares much about us but us.

Ah, no, mistyped on that one, kanthal will be ok, as will other resistance wires. But the Deeming does "deem" anything used IN vaping as tobacco, so it might not be able to be sold in vape shops. So say goodbye to any fancy coil wire (clapton, etc) unless you build your own. Heck, even cotton and rayon, if sold as wicking, will be tobacco.

Likewise pyrex, as used in tanks, will be deemed to be tobacco. Pyrex cookware isn't tobacco. Stainless steel grub screws are tobacco if sold for vaping or in a vape shop. If bought at your local hardware store, well, they're just SS.

It must be a little more complex than that. If what you are saying is true, then "vape shops" could stay open for business and "vape" manufacturers can keep making whatever they want without FDA approval as long as the hardware is not sold in a store that sells nic liquid. So as long as you sell all 0 nic liquid or no liquid at all, then you can't be regulated as a tobacco shop and non of your inventory can be considered tobacco, even though it already is deemed tobacco?

One key of the Dooming is that if it's made to be used to consume tobacco (after declaring nic, pg and vg to be tobacco, which, of course, none are), it's tobacco. Intended use is a big factor.

Some think a way around the hardware might be to claim that it's made to consume the other stuff, who knows if that would work.

Manufacturers would, of course, still be able to make what they want, just not legally sell it in the US, without going through the PMTA process - and succeeding.

    Deeming Regulations have been released!!!!

Some unreliable sources have told me that this vendor
    VITAMINVAPE – A Better Way To B
is exempt from deeming because they are selling their vape as a way to get vitamins. Even if that's true, it is a medical device and will be regulated as such. In fact, I'm surprised they haven't been shut down. Vitamins are not really regulated, but inhaling them really puts you in the realm of medical devices.

He even looks sad, like he knew what he'd done. Good pic.

I'd agree but the problem with dogs is they can be happier than a clam in mud until you say, "Bad dog," and then turn themselves inside out with remorse. (Be really nice if our 100 pound GSD even knew what remorse was.)
