I've always heard that horses are never supposed to lay down.

Horses should be prevented from lying down if they have colic as it can cause their intestines twist and kill them. Otherwise, in their opinion, there is nothing as revitalizing as a good good roll in the dust (which takes forever to brush out).
They usually do sleep on their feet but but a good nap on the ground is sometimes refreshing.

Not sure what cats have against cucumbers and zucchinis but is very entertaining.
