Well, I give up on GotVapes. I'm interested in that Volt Karma kit they sell as a starter kit for my wife and neighbor. But I see nowhere on their site that they carry replacement baterries for it. So I go to the "Contact Us" page and they refer you to their helpdesk for email inquiries. That page hasn't worked since last night when I first tried it. Wont even load. No phone number and some standoffish paragraph about how to look at their forum on ECF. I'm like, WTF? No way of getting a hold of those people with a simple question.

They're very responsive in the GotVapes supplier forum. Sorry about the bad experience on their webpage.

No need for you to apologize for GotVapes. We just had two different experiences is all. It happens. I went to their forum last night and left a post asking about that Volt battery. Got a bunch of views but no replies. I could break into a bank quicker than I can GotVapes. Anyhow, I believe I saw where Phoenix provides a syringe when you get their 5-pack of bottoms. You make it sound as if they're marginal for the VG though. Guess I might have to scrounge for that larger needle. Thanks for the heads up.

I use the Phoenix bottom coils too on my twist with 100% vg and love them. Easy to fill with the syringe, easy to clean, great flavour and vapour. The juice I use is from Virgin Vapor and one of them is in an EcoPure base (Organic Kona Velvet Milkshake) which is a little thicker but still works in these. I don't notice muted flavour.
My problem is that everyone seems to be out of stock! Anyone know of a place that has them?

Never mind..gotvapes has the 2.6 - 2.8 bc 1.5ml :)

Yeah, you get 2 needles and a syringe in each package. I'm a long time syringe filler, so I have a bunch of odd ones laying around, just none bigger than a 20 gauge.

If you posted last night, they may have all been asleep. :)

And they slept in all morning and into the afternoon so far. Ha ha.

Lou, I can get anything to make VG work. The problem is it doesn't last long (like in one day). It clogs the coil, the vapor and throat hit become inconsistent, the color darkens, it needs constant cleaning, etc.. Don't know if a bottom coil will give me more than one day of good, clean vaping but I'm willing to try. Carolina Vapes has them too. But then you probably don't have any problem getting GotVapes to respond unlike me. Guess they want you to register to their site before you matter.

It sounds like the ingredients in your juice is whats hard on coils.
I don't have any issues running unflavored VG nic from xtreme vaping.
Maybe something rebuildable will be more to your liking. Wick & wire are cheap and it's pretty simple/quick to make coils.

Skell, you could be right. Perhaps it's this Johnson Creek VG it doesn't like. That's the only 100% VG I burn. Too bad because they are my favorite flavors. I have no problems with their PG. I do have rebuilables. Thanks

Bronze..I've vaped more than 20 mls Eco Kona Velvet 100vg through just one of the Phoenix and I've cleaned it twice. That's pretty good mileage to me and will replace as soon as I get some more in. Hope you find what works for you! Maybe ask over at Johnson Creek what they use?

That's excellent Lou, and I'd love to have that mileage. Gives me hope that maybe a bottom coil is my answer. I burn 2 - 3mLof this JC's VG in my Kanger T2 (top coil) and it's trashed. I hear this complaint frequently by others (about VG in general). I did contact Johnson Creek about the problem and their only reply was that their VG is no thicker than anyone else's VG. So I don't know. I might have been born at night, but it wasn't last night. I look forward to getting my bottom coil tomorrow and testing it out. I'll follow up. Thanks Lou.

What bottom coils did you get Bronze? Kanger T0 or BetterLife CE3?

Skell, I got the Kanger T0. I had to place an order with my supplier for other stuff anyway so I just threw one of those Kanger bottom coils on the order. I use Kanger T2's for my big boy and M3's for the little guys. I'll probably give those Phoenix a try at some point too. Those Kanger bottom coils look like a real pain to fill.

Yeah, I watched a few vids on the T0 and I was a little put off.
I thought about getting the wife a few M3's, How are they?
I will probably try the Kanger T3 bottom coil when it comes out, but sorta digin' my Phoenix RA atm.

Skell, I am extremely pleased with these little M3's. I have to say I was quite surprised by the performance. I mean it is very consistent. I've been running a PG in it and it gives good, solid hits time and time again. I'v had it mostly on a 510 batt because it fits the minicig style and it's right on the edge of being too hot. I got the 1.8 - 2.3 ohm version so I just placed an order for more and will try the 2.8 - 3.2 ohm version next. I threw it on my Twist and dropped the volts to minimum (3.2) and it still was on the edge. So the higher resistence might be a better option. Overall, I am extremely pleased with those little M3's and are excellent for smaller batts and women who don't want to lug around a goliath. I actually got them for my wife too but I like them enough to use them myself. Check out that Karma kit on GotVapes and imagine it with the M3. Killer starter kit that really is more than just for starters. Good goin' out package.
