Ive been having problems with tasting the nic this last week. I have been using Wizards Lab reg nic for a year now and never had a problem. I mix up my juice which is mostly pure 70VG/ 30 Pg at almost no flavour. I mix at 1% flavor. Ive been doing this for more than a year and very happy.

This time its all been coming out horrible. I thought it was my VG, as it was over a year old and had a slight scent , so I dumped half a gallon out. Got new VG and still bad tasting. Thought maybe it was my TFA flavors as they were over a year old and kept in my medicine cabinet and with last summer and this summers heat, thought it might have gone bad.

Got new flavors, still nauseating. So finally mixed some no nic and WOW, finally, I can vape it without wretching. GOOD.

I got the nic about in march and the label said it made in March this year. It was a tiny bit pink. It was driving me nuts and realized after I looked at the label a saw that this time I had ordered my nic in a pure PG base instead of my usual VG. I had read that PG had a longer shelf life.

Would PG based NIc really have THAT much of a difference in the "bite" and TH and flavor?

So now I have to order some more Nic and will definitely stick to VG based Nic and want to know which vendor has the most neutral , clean and SMOOTH Nic. I might order my usual from Wizards or was thinking of giving Nude Nicotine a try.

There is a thread here called Nicotine comparisons, but it's long and Ive tried reading it and it seems to be divided by those who dont taste a difference and go for least expensive and like strong taste and those that like NO taste and go for purity. I tried asking and got no response in regards to the consensus of which of most popular truly was the cleanest, smoothest nic.

Thanks for the replies, who is VT? Sorry, Ive never been able to keep up with the abbreviations. Like I said the only thing that changed in my routine was that this was the first time I ever ordered my Nic in an all PG base. Ive been ordering 100mg from Wizards Labs for over a year and never had it taste this strong. I dilute it down to a 3mg mix.

I like a 70vg/ 30pg blend.

I guess they could have made it stronger or I could have goofed up for the first time.

Sorry about that.
VT=Vapers Tek
Nicotine - Vapers Tek

Cheers,
Steve

PS I've been making my mixes recently at 40/60 (PG/VG) but I'm always fiddling with my ratios.

Thanks Steve, I adjust it depending on the temperature. In winter I also do the same ratio as you. It is so hot that I need to step up the VG.

I will give VapersTek a try. I dont know if I was off or if Wizards Lab was off or it went bad in 6 months ? But, Im sticking to the VG base, just in case it might make a difference.
