Recently a co-worker of mine had a rosacea like reaction which, he claims to be caused by either poorly made juice or the propylene glycol. He recently found a vendor in San Fran that offers 100% organic VG/H2O liquid. Since switching the "rash" has decreased but is still problematic. I know there are those out there with PG allergies but his reaction is localized to his face, specifically around his nose. Anyone else heard of this or has had the same reaction?

Rosacea can be caused by... well... almost anything. It's an allergic reaction that can be quite annoying. I personally haven't had that reaction with PG or VG, nor have I heard of anyone with that reaction. It's definitely a possibility that they're linked, but you'd simply have to have your co-worker do a trial to find out. Some ideas:

o 50PG/50VG
o don't vape for a while
o buy ejuice from a different vendor because ingredients for flavoring differ

Sorry I can't really give more extensive information, allergic reactions are tricky cases. It simply takes trials to figure out whether or not they're linked and they tend to differ in every person. And btw I'm an M.D., so I'm sorry if it sounds likes nonsense, but that's really the way to figure out links to allergic reactions.
