I know people are sometimes sensitive to either PG or VG, but I am trying to figure out which one is more common. I have been to the doctor and ruled out other problems, which I already pretty much knew it was vaping because it didn't happen if I didn't vape(stopped for 2 days). The problem is, all of my juices are mixed pg/vg I have to order 100% of one or the other to figure out which one may be doing it but I don't know where to begin :( I also imagine it could be certain flavorings but it happens no matter what flavor I use by different vendors....It is a dull stomach ache but by the end of the day it is a little worse. I am SO FRUSTRATED!!

I seem to see more PG sensitivity rather than VG. I hate saying what I'm going to say anyway :p but HHV has a purity line that is ALL VG, even flavoring. GT and Buggs say that Heather's is a thinner VG than most. I would start with 100VG and go from there. I'm sorry this is happening to you :(

I had the same issue a few months back. I had a gaseous bloating just below my chest that I sometimes just couldn't relieve with antacids. I started that 14 day regimen with that over the counter antacid daily and it went away after a few days and has not returned. I still vape 60/40 pg. P.s. I think it was the nicotine. That medication helps to slow down the acid production in your body for a while.

Thanks everyone! At least I have a starting point...I think I will try VG with a lower nicotine level. I am really hoping to figure this out soon :(

Keep us posted on your journey. Some day someone will have this same experience and do a search. If you can keep all your findings in this thread, it may help someone else down the road.

I really hope you find a solution. :)

The nicotine does it to me. I used to have the worst heartburn if I smoked right before bed. I'm noticing it again as I no longer smoke, but vape before sleep. Nicotine relaxes the upper esophageal sphincter and can increase reflux. I'm back to my PPI again to see if I can contain it until I can step my nic down in another month or so. Taking it slowly.

Pure VG seems to mess up my stomach bad. I vaped it heavily for a couple of days straight and though I had food poisoning. I don't get it when I use PG blends.

Seems like for people PG causes sore throats and coughing if they are sensitive to it and VG causes heavy lung feeling (haven't experience that myself) or stomach problems if people are sensitive to it.
