OK so there seems to be a lot of talk about PG, PEG, VG here and all with good reason. To educate ourselves with what we are inhaling.
SO for all of those like me who like to experiment with things that could possibly be better or healthier, lets think outside the box a little.
The glycerin is used to thicken and keep prolonged moisture correct?
What other alternatives could there be out there?
Obviously it would need to be somewhat sweet tasting or have no taste (So motor oil is out of the question...jk8-o), it would need to be a thickening agent, etc.
Any suggestions or thoughts?

Well, it would also have to have a similar flash point, right? (I sure hope that's the right term...) You don't want something that will burn in your atomizer, you want something that will create a fine mist. PG flash point is 130C, Glycerin is 160C, so we want something in that range. Oils are probably a bad idea (residue).

So... um... go from there. All I can add at this point I guess.
