PG/VG flavours?

I've noticed people refer to their flavours as a 'VG' or 'PG'.. I wasn't aware they came in two types. On my flavour bottle it does not state. Is this important for mixing?

(I'm new to DIY e-liquid and have made a couple of posts requesting help now )

almost all flavors are PG based, if they are VG they usually say so. Is it important for mixing??? I guess not. Just know that if you have a 50/50 base and add all PG flavors, you will have a result closer to 30/70 vg/pg. Some people want to know what their flavors are so they can end with a true 50/50 vg/pg ratio. If you are just looking for some yummy DIY recipes, no... it doesn't matter. DIY is not an exact science

The only time it makes a difference is if your sensitive to PG.
