PG = propylene glycol, associated with throat hit
VG = vegetable glycerin, vapor production and "lung hit"
e-liquid basically consists of some mix of PG and VG, nicotine (dissolved in the PG or VG base), and flavorings -- tobacco, menthol, vanilla, whatever.
You tune the PG/VG mix to get your right point of throat hit and vapor, with enough nicotine to satisfy your nic needs.
Nic need (mg/ml of nicotine, often shortened to just mg) may vary -- when I chain-vape at a computer using a passthrough, I'll drop to a 12 mg mix, while for wakeup with coffee I'll use 24 mg.
Pretty popular is 80% PG, 20% VG, often abbreviated as 80/20. That gets decent throat hit (though you still need some of that magic nicotine in the mix, which generally adds a "peppery" flavor to things), with the VG giving good vapor.
Some people have an unfavorable reaction to PG, need to use pure VG.

Adjust the PG/VG mix -- many vendors (TastyVapor, freedomsmokeUSA, etc.) will let you pick the PG, VG, and mg within reason.
Some places, like TastyVapor, also let you buy a 0 nicotine flavored liquid -- it has the PG/VG % you want. You buy a high nic flavored, plus the 0 nic "doubler" (tastyvapor term), and can then mix your own various nic levels, no loss of flavor.

You can try that, though it will of course cut the flavor.
VG is available commonly in pharmacies, you want USP grade glycerin (sometimes spelled glycerine). Take a look at post 10 in:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tips-tricks/46621-usp-glycerine.html
PG is less readily available, unless you have a tractor supply store (beats me what that is) -- again, you want USP grade. I bought mine online, I believe from Perfumer's Apprentice.

PG can be purchased from any pharmacy. They may have to order it which means you pick it up the next day. It cost approx $11.00 a pint/473 ML. Just go to the pharmacist's counter and ask. Know what you are asking for or you might confuse them. They don't get many requests for it.

Glycerine is a skin protectant "Humco" and will be found on the shelves.

What is the difference and between PG, VG, Organic, Velvet Blend....
How do they differ whats got a heavy vapor, witch holds flavors better, is there a difference I will notice. I just really don't grasp the concept of the different PG's VG's etc....

Sounds like you visited the Velvet Vapors site. :)

Velvet Blend is her proprietary ratio of PG to VG.

Some of us react badly to PG and have to seek out VG-only juice, so knowing what you're getting is very important for many vapers.

Velvet Vapors has 100% VG if you want it.
She aso uses natural flavors and no artificial colorings in her juices... a big+++ for me.
