PG enhances throat hit and flavor. VG enhances the amount of vapor generated. The most common combinations of PG to VG are 80/20, 70/30 and 50/50. VG is extremely thick. The more PG in the juice the stronger the taste and TH. I make my own juice and depending on whether I'm looking for really strong tasting fruit or really mellow vanilla-like taste I go with 80/20 or 60/40.

A lot of people have explained it better than I can, but here's what I make of it..

PG - It's thinner, supposedly carries the flavor well, but doesn't produce as much visible vapor as VG
VG - Thicker, more of a "body" to the vaopor, and produces a whole lot of vapor when you exhale.

I think 50/50 is too thick for cartomizers.. takes too long to fill a cartomizer. I've heard it's nice in a tank.

I stick to 60/40 or 70/30 PG/VG now. 80/20 is too thin for me.
