Hey there, i was wondering what are the differences between PG and VG. Is one better than the other? Pros and Cons of each. I know a little but not enough. Also where can i find a site that offers a wide variety of VG? I have been looking through the venders list and some vendors only offer a hand full of VG. Thanks

PG- thin, more throat hit, more flavor. Some say harsh
VG- thick, less throat hit, more vapor. Some say mutes taste.

It's really a matter of personal preference. Try different ratios and see what works best.

I personally can't vape high VG. It give me a heavy feeling in my chest. Many can't vape high PG. VG is on the thicker side, but many people seem to be happy with 100% VG.

Could try a 50/50 see how that works. Some vendors use 70pg/30vg.

eeh, it probably not the most appropriate place but I wonder why people are obsessed with VG? Because it's "natural"? But it was definitely not designed by Mother Nature for continuous inhaling. So from this point of view I do not really see how VG is more natural than PG.

Same as others have mentioned, it's the allergy to PG. For me it always started w/ itchy neck, then sore roof of the mouth, then sore throat, Sahara level cottonmouth, and sometimes canker sores. Switched to 100% VG, none of the above, ever.

I shop The Vapor Room, but would like to hear other favorites too.

All I can offer is my personal experience- HHV is a smooth 100% VG with pretty good flavor. Most e-juices that are 30% PG or higher remind me of smoking a Tobacco Pipe- raw throat, irritated sinuses, constant dry mouth. RAWR Vapor 70 VG/ 30PG did not affect me that way. I have begun to doubt vendors who do not give the mixing options, just my opion. COV 'CloudPure' doesn't list thier PG/VG levels, but still mildly irritating to me. AltCig has great flavor, but lights up my allergies. My advise- buy small bottles of different vendors and keep serching. Good Luck and Happy Vaping !

I have a sensitivity to PG myself and choose to vape 100% VG. PG will make me itch all over, break me out, rashes, sinus issues, trouble breathing properly, headaches, etc. My two vendors currently are Highbrow Vapor and Heather's Heavenly Vapes. They both offer a variety of juices and since I always get extra flavor their juices are very flavorful and enjoyable to me. I've also tried Alien Visions and Ahlusion's VG juices though they are not for me. Other vendors I have made note of that offer 100% VG (though not confirmed or tried by me) are:

Johnson Creek Red Oak Line
Copper Creek
The Vapor Room
Virgin Vapor
Liberty Flights
D&D Vapor
Velvet Vapor
Ikenvape
Rawr Vapor
Pink Spot (?, unsure)

I'm sure there are tons more.

I also find that the amount of vapor I get from all VG is more satisfying in a vape than TH or anything else. Love that VG vapor!

:)

I use VG due to a sensitivity as well ... the heaviness of an elephant sitting on my chest is just not for me when I vape PG ... down to even the flavorings. If I wanted that heaviness, I might as well stick with analogs. So I made the decision to switch to 100% VG and vape like crazy especially on the weekends and have no issues whatsoever.

These vendors are truly 100% VG, both in their base and flavorings. I have personally verified via e-mail or phone call and have also ordered from all of the vendors below.

Johnson Creek (Red Oak Line)
Virgin Vapor
Alien Visions (100% VG Flavors)
Velvet Vapor (PG Free)
Vape Dudes (Naturals)
VaporPhoxxe
HighBrow Vapor
Heathers Heavenly Vapes (Purity Line)

I've had pretty good luck with TH from most of the vendors I've ordered from, two of the newest who are quickly becoming favorites are HighBrow (customization on any order to include a TH enhancer - though I have never felt I had to try) and VaporPhoxxe (a little pricey, but well worth it in my opinion) Both of these vendors have wonderful customer service as well.

A huge trend I've noticed as well has been the all natural or all organic flavor. Seems many of the vendors who are doing 100% VG are taking a turn this way. I know Annette over at Virgin Vapor has been doing this since she's been making juice and is definitely on my top list of vendors (especially the Original Sin and Perfect Peach ... they are fantastic)

I wish I could vape PG just due to the consistency and make a carto last more than a couple days if I'm lucky. Some of the really thick VG liquid, (like Bobas Bounty or Gorilla Juice from Alien Visions) I can get a day from a carto ... but I buy cartos in bulk and that dollar a day for a carto is cheap comparatively speaking to analogs, not to mention the juice is just that good IMO ... so I just deal with it. :)

So, I think the sensitivity factor is why some of us make a big deal out of the VG to PG thing. It's not that we don't like or want to vape on anything PG, it's the fact that it causes issues in some form or fashion. VAPE ON!!!!

I'm a high vg vaper, I prefer 75% vg or higher. I like the thick clouds and to me pg has an unpleasant hospital taste.
If you're like me and hate spending piles of money, try these vendors
Vaporgod.com - offers different ratios up to 95% vg. Thins their vg with distilled water so it stays the same consistency as pg. I use these guys and have had excellent experiences with them.
Bluemistvaping.com - offer 100% vg. Their claim to fame is the great price they have on 120ml bottles
Mtbakervapor.com - offer 2 options in 100% vg, thinned and non thinned as well as other ratios. Will be trying them next for their rock bottom pricing and extra flavor options
All these vendors are American
