5 and an Estia too. Would be embarrassed to post a shot of all the equipment that is sitting just to my left....;)

Still trying to figure out if it is a hobby or a sickness!

I think it's pretty cool actually.

Trivial question here, but how would one go about making an estia come out to about 1 ohm with the three coils? I know there are calculators and things, but I'm just not a numbers person. I have 28 guage and 25 on hand.

Forget the 25 and 28 is too many wraps depending on the size of the coil. 32 will give you the least amount of wraps (8/9 for each coil) but is very fragile to work with. I built mine with 30g to 2mm and 13/12 wraps. Then the trick is just the right amount of wicking to avoid dry hits.

Edit: This of coarse is using 2mm as a baseline.

Wrap 3 3ohm coils. 28g 3mm ID would be a 15/14 wrap. Anything with a smaller ID wouldn't fit I don't think and I don't think there's anyway you could use the 25g to get to your 1 ohm target (27/26 wrap)

Thank you j.

Sry to take this OT for a bit, but 14/15 wraps sounds rediculous. Would one get good performance here? It doesn't have to be dead on 1 ohm read, just in the neighborhood.

Wow they have same dang nice drip tips! Albeit expensive, but nice! Too bad none of the golf tips come in a matte finish.

I don't want to put Aiolos on the spot, but be prepare for the possibility of an extra drip tip in your package when it arrives in the longest 3-4 days of your life. He takes care of his clients. Oh, and matte isn't an issue for him to do on any tip, just ask him bud...some of the best CS in any business from Gus.

They will usually "matte-a-fy" things for you if you ask......

I'll definitely ask about the mattifying! And I will absolutely not expect anything, but that would be pretty dang cool and would make my day!

Glad to hear it about the customer service too!

Gonna try to go through and read the rest of the thread and will keep on the lookout for a lite with the air flow transparency as well to see if that's a good way to go or not.

What's this Easter discount? And am I too late? Haha

Direct from the Gus website?

I read about the discount and thought that meant it was an excellent time to venture into the Gus world. So I spent days looking and reading, trying to understand the different mods and atties.

In the end, I ordered a telescopic Lord (I've always loved the look of the Lord finish), a Phenomenon Lite and some spare fuses. They were shipped yesterday and are currently winging their way to Australia.

The problem is, I spent so long pondering over what to buy that I totally forgot about claiming the discount. Doh! :/

Woooohoooooo! Made it through the whole thread! That was rough! Haha I also tried to remember to save each pic you all posted to my phone to go back through and view... Still some questions of course as the thread didn't answer all.

1.) Can the PLite be dialed down of the air for comfortable/good MTL hits?

2.) is there any disadvantage to the full poly tank on the PLite (the tank that essentially takes the place of the lower air flow control stainless ring).

3.) Should I try to get a Zest base with the PLite tank instead? (I guess the answer to #1 answers this in a way.)

I will NOT do 3ml even though overall I like the option for the full Metal and being able to still see the juice level on the Zest. 3ml is a deal breaker for me sadly. Need to get through a workday, and then I carry one of those Innokin "U Cans" with me that are kinda slow filling - which would likely lead to flooding with the top fill in the Phenomenon. 4 mil is as low as I'll go in a tank.
S50...What type of a draw do you like?
As I'll answer below, I like a tighter draw. My old Ehpro KFL+ Clone was honestly too tight for me though, even though I'm MTL **exclusively**. I don't really ever see myself doing DTL pulls, but never say never.

I own an authentic KV4 and honestly love the feel of it and am able to dial my "tighter" draw in PERFECTLY with it, but the fact that I feel like my capacity is around 2.5 mil with that light saber of an atty (since I can only fill to the top of the poly to not get dry hits), I want "more"

I have an ErlPrinz and it's honestly a bit too loose of a draw for me. And while I love the flavor and density of the clouds, I'm realizing the draw is a tad too loose for me, and (oddly) the flavor is sometimes overkill with my Nicoticket the virus. (Seems overly sweet out the the ErlPrinz and hard to get a lot of throat hit even with my 12mg juice with MTL).

*Phew - sorry for the long winded answer!

If there's no disadvantage to the full poly, I'll probably go with that tank option with the ring just because if nothing else, I don't want to lose or scratch that ring and/or then I'll have 2 additional o-rings for the future!

Yes, there is AFC, and I MTL on the Lite and the Zest I had before it fine.

Go with the Lite, you can always dial it back, can't add more AF... Just my opinion though.

Anyways, I got the full PMMA added on and it looks great, no real downside to it, just if you other the aesthetics go for it. They come in pairs so if you are worried at all about durability...but you should be fine me thinks, like with anything of you take care of it you won't have ant issues.

1) As Dems stated, the AFC is well suited to fine tune the Phen-Lite to any type of draw. You can fix it from "0" to an over "3mm'' draw and anything in between. So yes, you'll be fine doing MTLs with the Phen-Lite.

2) For a different look that 'full poly tank' is fine. I however, like the "SS and Poly combo" for two reasons: (1)It gives a li'l more sturdiness to the system - the SS AFC ring grabbing the Phen-Lite's base stronger than the Poly does. And (2)It looks great! The bottom AFC SS ring evens out the top SS ring of the fill ports - and this bottom SS ring also has the GUS logo and the Crown etched on it - which looks classy. BTW, for a full poly tank the Phen-Lite Bell Tank is a beautiful option!

3) I can't response to that since I don't own a Zest. AAF should be able to answer it better since she rocks it exactly that way I believe ~ Zest base with a Phen-Lite upper.
