I'm of the same school of thought. I oil mine up once a week overnight and wipe it clean in the morning. Not sure if the mineral oil protects or what, but I feel good doing a little maintenance on my phirst born. I'm expecting another. The gestation period is short on these little beauties!

If you want yours to shine, you could put more Tung oil on it, say every other day for a week and you'll have a shine...220 grit sand paper between coats...
Every Phid has a minimum of 4 coats of Tung oil---takes three days to do that.
Getting set up is the most important part...

hahaha, I perform maintenance right after I've vaped myself into a comatose state. Then I keep my Riva handy JIC I get an urge. I feel so much healthier since starting to vape, but I feel like so much more of an addict! I purposely buy lower nic strength so I can vape more! (24 mg was practically giving me heart palpitations I was vaping so much) I've been dialing it down a touch the last week and everything's going great.
Heh, yes! I use 12mg, but when I get something stronger, I get pretty wacky pretty fast. I've gotten a couple FSUSA samples and forgotten that they're 24 mg... *honk honk vape honk* wooooooozy =)
(strange, disturbing schoolgirl giggle). Thank goodness for sleepless nights! I saw that people were expecing their phids on Wednesday so I thought id check my tracking just for the heck of it... It will be here today!! Still though, too bad I probably won't be there to properly greet it..
