Morning all Can't wait to start seeing pics roll in !! Mine won't be here till tomorrow, or maybe even Friday ..... things (everything!) in my neck of the woods move very, very, very slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. *sighs*

Well, my stupid echeck finally cleared(no idea why paypal didn't make it an instant transfer) so my Phiddy should be sent out soon. Hopefully I get it by Monday. I just want to hold my Pine. lol.

I opened my e-mail folder to print out the new requests and the e-mail folder was not there, also some other folders have disappeared?

I'm stumped, just had an automatic windows update happen, Skype also updated and now like 3 e-mail folders are just gone?

I did a restart no help.

So here's the deal I need to have you all resubmit your requests..

O' no this is trouble, I don't know what else to do though.

Clear your cache and cookies, same thing happen to me yesterday and everything changed on my computer, once I cleared the cache and cookies all was fine Fono.

Fono, not sure if embarqmail is a web-based email (like Hotmail or Yahoo)? If it is, the mail items in your mailbox are not stored on your computer so it makes no sense that a Windows update would affect your mail. If you're using a mail program like Outlook and have POP forwarding set up to send the embarqmail emails to Outlook it's possible - but rather strange and normally rather unlikely - that the update jacked up the file that stores your Outlook mail. Either way, it's too bad I'm not there 'cuz I could probably straighten it out for you! One thing you can try on your own, assuming you're running Windows you can do a system restore. Windows always sets a restore point these days before doing an auto update so you can restore back to that point or pick an earlier one as well. I'd definitely give that a try as in most cases it should put you back where you were before you lost the stuff you mentioned...

yes to all, and yeah, system restore is/was my next move...

My Firewall is on, but there's a red xed out thing about incoming accesses I think I may have security issues...?

Thanks I'll do the System Restore--thankfully the other folders were about to be deleted by me as I'm done with them...the new requests being the only file of import...
