The one difference that I see is that the delrin strip is glued down closer to the button than my other ones.... I think that would limit the swing of the mechanism and help keep the button from pushing all the way through the hole to the inside when the door is off.

I agree chameloid, that looks like the only difference in that one compared to my other ones.
EDIT: Upon further review of my new ltd ed Pine, it's the same as the other ones. weird I don't see a difference in any of my phids feed button.

cause of all the advice and tips from "the Phamily" I am happily vaping on a 801( thank you yellowman1972 for quick response) and of course Thank You Fono!!!! what an artist! and pleasure to order from! you sir just made my month!

okay on a side note...fixing computers is what i do so quick tip.
download malwarebytes(its free!) install it, restart computer and enter safe mode by hitting f8 while its booting...choose safe mode w/networking.
once you are logged into windows run malwarebytes, remove what it finds and all should be good......hope this helps!

It's not something I'd be interested in, I sold my VV ali'i because IMO fono blows ryans woodworking skills sky high.
Don't tell fono though I don't want him getting a big head!!!

Yes,I bought upstates vv ali'i,I didn't really want/need the vv feature,but it is nice to be able to crank 'er up for a uncooperative atty.
The woodwork on the ali'i is not as good as on the phidias,but still light-years ahead of anything i could do.None of my wood feeders
go to work with me,that honor goes to the reo grand,It's all aluminum,so I don't have to worry about dropping it on the concrete floor.
I mostly use the 18650 batts in the grand,phid,but every other day or so,I'll use the 14650 size,5v battery for the mako maksi on them for that added boost.Each mod has it's strong points and weakness',but they are all great.The only way to top any of them,is a phid made of cali. pepper(hubba,hubba).

I like the aw 18650.1600mah IMR,aw 17670,1600mah li-ion,and the NIMH 4.8v 400mah() battery for the mako maksi.They all fit,the 18650,17670 last all day&then some,the 4.8v gives 'em a little boost(for 4-5 hrs.)

I like the AW 18650 2900mah ..... getting about a day and a half - two days out of them ......

I use the AW IMR 18650 & the BDL IMR 18650...I can't tell the difference.

My Phiddy is number 6 on the top row! Now for a semi-review, because I don't like doing reviews....

First impressions: smaller than I thought, but still a "handful". absolutely gorgeous! Thought I would want one with rounded edges, but after getting this one, I don't think the pine would look good rounded... i can't explain it... so I won't

I had to put one of those plastic shims behind the battery to get it to connect right.. I thought i had a flawed unit, but after adding that piece, it works great. can't get my new 2.0ohm 510 to work right. I can drip from the top and it works fine, but bottom feed, I get nothing but dratty, and liquid all over the place except where it NEEDS to go... however, my 1.5ohm 306, OH, its like buttah! I'm getting kerflemped... talk amongst yourselves.....

Oh yeah, I have to use both magnets, otherwise, my back cover won't stay on.. I had two sessions of "therapeutic bottle massage" until my fingers got sore, and its working pretty good...

Overall, absolutely loving it, couldn't ask for more..

yeah yeah, no pics no proof, but my pictures are coming out orange.. i'll try to get some good pics tomorrow..

fono, I know bamboo isn't technically a wood, but i would like to see bamboo inlays on a dark colored phidias.. I wonder if there is a good japanese dark colored wood out there, to keep with the theme...Or a light color wood, with green bamboo inlays, if you could find a way to keep the color without painting it...

ok i gave lf another shot and ordered a 5 pack of EM reg attys..supposed to be 2.2---al i can say is it's a good thing i'm not planning on using them on my egos. They all meter out at 1.8 and 1.9!
