Personally, I see absolutely
no good from this. Philip Morris, just like any other company is in business to do just one thing -
make money.
There are more than a few scenarios that can be played out here, first and foremost is to gain
absolute control over the the PV market. To own every conceivable right to every product and procedure required for the development, production, distribution, sales and use of these products. Simply stated, to own it in every possible way. Then comes the best part... for them - to make as much profit as possible.
Right now I see myself spending as little as $.10 per day (that's ten cents) for a much safer, cleaner, easier, more convenient, tastier, legal and enjoyable way to deliver the satisfaction of nicotine to my system that I really want. Once in control of this market, they can price them close or comparable to what we now pay for the same satisfaction we can get from xxx number of analogs.
All we can do is keep a wait and see attitude until the legitimacy of these PV's come to fruition.
