Moo. I'm curious. Ay advantage to DHL? Just trying another method to see?

Zero advantage and even less for me considering they do not deliver to Montana. They will deliver it to Colorado and handit off to the USPS there so it will take even longer. From my experience so far Fedex is the best way to go for International shipments. However Alba no longer uses fedex, so I did not have a choice.

good to see business is good moo!

Side note, I've decided that my Ihy's have completely spoiled me on loose draw..

any suggestions on what to use to bore out the airhole in the cobra?

I would suggest to go slow and careful. I actually had this conversation with the owner of Siam several weeks ago as I saw a post on a UK forum where he said it was easy and I asked him how he does it. Only problem is I forgot the answer, so I will ask again when we are skyping later and get the details back to you!

She will probably tell you to use a drill like she answered my questions above.

I wouldn't answer questions from someone else that way, only you because I know you know I am joking!

Not sure it will help in the estimate on delivery, but here's what I did see when you and I ordered Cobras directly from Alba. It appears they shipped both orders the same day -- confirmed by your post on when it shipped and my shipping notice.

You got your shipment in 2 days via Fedex (an option I didn't even have to select from) and I got mine in 4 days via the Royal Mail to USPS route.

Now bear with me, and follow along carefully. :D

Now while I have no idea if the Royal Mail used DHL to USPS or not, and shipping between us has always been 2 days even on standard shipping, and we're both on the west side of the country, seperated by only 1 million pounds of marshmallows, and your mail carrier can sometimes get lost... let see... oh yeah, your package is much larger, and customs probably will delay a bit to eat some of those marshmallows since Fedex isn't there to bribe em with Smarties... you did have em include marshmallows right?

Anyhow... I'd say that the shipping time to you is probably going to be at least double of what you normally would expect using Fedex.

So, here's to you getting your shippment within a weeks timeframe. :toast:

LMAO!! I dont think fedex was ever a choice with Alba. They did it special for me because DHL does not deliver to Montana. I got another package through DHL recently and once handed off to the USPS in Colorado it took another 4 or 5 days to get here. Yes I said 4 or 5 days from a place I can drive to in about 15 hours!!! But even once DHL reported that my local post office signed for it took 2 more days for the lady at the post office to put a notice in our po box that we had a package waiting and even then it was only because chris asked about the package.

This was at the tail end of the Christmas rush so I am hoping it goes smoother this time.

Gotta love the USPS.

No really you dont!

I just checked tracking and my package is in the United States in Customs. If/When it clears customs it should be Denver by Tuesday or Wednesday if I had to take a guess. So we will see soon how the USPS does this time.

Lets all keep our fingers crossed it makes it through customs.
