Yeah 60 is pretty thick. New people might want to start out around 50. You leave an airhole open to help with wicking? I imagine you barely have any give on those wicks.
Yep, the more mesh the more capillary action.
I always leave the fill hole open. The tank must be able to equalize. The finer the mesh (higher number) the easier it is to get lots of mesh in the wick. I prob could of got another 10-15mms in there if I tried.
I'm lazy and always buy pre-rolled/oxidized wick. Actually, I'm scared of burning down the house.....hey Talking Heads!

That is a LOT of rolling. I seem to get better performance jack frosting with 50mm....maybe slighly less (small paper clip size hole in the middle). That closed one hasn't given me much luck......yet.
part of that "coughing" with the dual wick is the off-aligned air hole isn't it? On a single wick setup, you slide the air hole to the side away from the wick, you get a kick a** throat hit. With the duals, you can't align BOTH wicks.This is the only vaping setup that makes me cough like, umm, well forget it.
You must be patient with this setup for the first 24 hrs. Once it's seasoned it mellows out and there is nothing like it. The only way to get more flavor is to drip juice on your tongue.
I don't know who the heck you guys are bribing over at the USPS, but it's workingI got mine today. Just happened to check the tracking and saw that it was delivered a mere 36 hours after shipment . . . figures it would arrive on the one day I hadn't gone down the road to get the mail
So I went out and grabbed it. Will get around to playing with it tomorrow
We haven't bribed anybody. I'm pleasantly surprised at how fast some of these arriving!
It will probably jump forward on Monday. I have noticed that often tracking does not update on the weekends.

In all seriousness, I've often found that packages from small "mom and pop" type establishments like yours tend to arrive faster than ones from the larger vendors. Maybe just something different in the way you handle the shipment process. Regardless, you guys deserve kudos on quick and efficient order processing

My package is out for delivery. My question is will it be delivered by vehicle or air. That wind is really picking up.

I'm starting to wish I had held your package here where it is safe. I mean really a little snow never hurt anyone! It will be a real shame if that beautiful phineer blew away only minutes after you took it out of the box. It's truly a work of art! Or worse yet if the mail truck blew away and ended up in OZ. The lollypop kids have no need for a phineer

I don't know IF mine will make it. I went out earlier and saw USPS driving around and package stated out for delivery. But, the drivers may have been pulled off the road. Ad I doubt the USPS website would be updated to "sorry...see you in a few days sucka"
I know you guys are excited to get your packages. But right now the most important thing is that you stay safe!

once I realized it doesn't come apart like a did it came right apart, look how cute the tank is!
I have another coil setup to share. This is 2 pcs of 32 Kanthal braided together, then used to wrap the coil. The resistance of this coil is .8Ω. The vapor production is as good as dual wicks, except the TH is much more reasonable. I have a tool that is basically a small handle with a round hook on the end. The hook is about the size of a dime. I take 2 equal pieces of kanthal, about 3 inches in length, holding them together, I wrap one end around the hook a couple of times then twist a couple of times. Now the 2 wires are secured to the hook. Then I firmly grab the other ends with hemostats or needle nose pliers. Spin the hook until the 2 wires are tightly braided together as if they are 1. I always burn the wire before I do anything with it, it just makes it much less springy and easier to work with.
