Yea the coil yesterday the coil popped at the top. Todays coil is a 5/6 wrap(2.5 ohms) at 4.5v and its hitting like a truck. Vapor production is still a bit light, but its a new wick hopefully it will improve as it breaks in.

I'm getting plumes of vapor. I'm at 1.5ohm and 3.7v. It does take breaking on but.....
do you hear gurgling?

Ok my moronic question of the day. How does one take this apart for cleaning?

1. Top cap off
2. Take apart top section (pos post)
3. CAREFULLY grip the glass and slide it up. The body is obviously one piece, but the glass slides up. Yes, I know. It's tight. But it will. CAREFULLY!

If I were to want a 1.5 ohm coil how many wraps of 32g should I be shooting for? Mine when I wrap em are coming up in the 2.5+ range with a 4/5 or a 5/6 wrap.

What I'd do is if you're still in the tinkering mood, take one coil out at a time and measure the resistance. I guess you'd have a 3/2 with 32g. I personally use 30g and use a 5/6 usually.

I probably will drop down 2 coils from whats on there now once I get home. Until I get it figured out(ie get it to work good) it will be an at home toy. That popped coil yesterday at work sucked hardcore no nic for the last half of the day was rough.

You guys were busy while I was "resting" :p

I don't have much to offer this evening as I am waiting until after new years to setup my Cobra, but I did want to pop in and say I hope everyone had a nice Christmas. Our Christmas was very nice, but with two kids still in the house I am exhausted!!! 2 more radiation treatments to go and then I am holding my breath for New Years when I can start off the new year with a clean slate!!!!!!!!!!
