Way to go, Wash !

That should be an awesome design !! The Emerald City Rocks !!!

Thanks a lot Van, I appreciate it! Been wanting something like this for a little while now and glad that Moorea is bringing it to life. And yeah, I love my city.

The LA skyline would look GOOD on a tank too or maybe the LA Lakers logo.

Yeah, it has .. but we still have a ways to go. I have a bit of a love/hate thing (can you tell?) going for L.A.

I wasn't wild about the year I spent in WA, but I think I would have liked it a whole lot better if I had lived in Seattle proper, I was out in Renton (Sea/Tac) and mainly came into the city for my Judo classes, lol.

If I had actually lived IN Seattle I might have stayed there. Great music, great food. Pretty city, the Rome of the Pacific!

I love Seattle. I wouldn't mind moving to Washington. I however would find something remote and out of the way maybe 45 minutes to an hour from Seattle!

I'm not certain but I don't think there really is anything 'out of the way' on the left coast anymore ... more like one giant, endless suburb. Not as dense as a city but not rural either.

Nah, that can't be right? At least I hope it's not right. There's got to be some farmland somewhere! But, these days it seems most of the farmland is owned by Agra-Corporations!?

It is probably going to take a bit of time to recover. LOL I can tell and I have the same feeling for Seattle. Guess it's the same for a lot of people that stay in any given city for awhile.

LOL yeah, Sea-tac is a bit slower in comparison to Seattle. There isn't much there and pac highway is something else. Renton is said to become one of the major cities in the area in the next 10 years. There's a lot of good restaurants there now at days though. You probably would've had a lot more fun if you stayed in Seattle. There's quite a bit of things to do and see in the city. Although, the traffic in Seattle has become ridiculous over the years.

You would probably like living somewhere like Ellensburg, Bellingham, or maybe Bainbridge Island. They are pretty remote and are good places to live.

There's still quit a bit of farmland and stuff in Eastern Washington. Never been there or much cities outside of King County. So, there's probably more places then that.

Where we are now, we are surrounded by 360 degrees of mountains. I am squatting on my moms property, I built a house here but never actually bought the property so technically I am a squatter. It is around 200 acres. She is my closest neighbor on the other side of the property and then the closest "neighbor" besides her is 2 miles away. We have a 30 acre private lake, deer, elk and moose that visit frequently and an eagle that fishes on our lake.

Anything like that within an hour of Seattle???? I love our life, what I don't like is how far we are from everything. I don't mind the 45 minute drive to shop and do things, the problem is the closest town is Kalispell and besides your basic shopping, movies and restaurants there isn't really anything else. Not enough culture. When I purchased a new car last April I had to go to Seattle. If we want to see a concert we have to go to Washington. Heck when we moved here and built our house we didn't even have a home depot so we rented a uhaul and went to Spokane for a big shop. Missoula is a 2 hour drive or so, but it doesn't do anything for me. Spokane is OK but not as nice as Seattle. We've done Seattle a few times, to buy my car and to see a Van Halen concert. And I love the city and the vibe. But it is an 8 hour drive and we have ALWAYS gotten stuck in at least 2 hours traffic on the way home.

I looked into BC Vancouver and that was perfect. Same wild life as here. An ocean to boot (I don't miss living in Florida but I do miss the ocean) beautiful scenery, a cultured city with a nice vibe, everything I was looking for. But the hubby won't move to Canada as the gun laws are to strict and without direcTV he would not get to watch his Dolphins games...

Wow this post has gotten long. I guess I am looking for any excuse to stop putting snadblasted tanks on the website!

I remember you telling me that before and it sounds like a great place to live. And no, to the best of my knowledge. There's isn't a place like that an hour away from Seattle. Well, that'll depend on how fast yall drive LOL Like most places, the closer you are to the city. The less land a person is able to own.

Anyways, I could see that being a problem if Kalispell is the closest town from where you live. Certainly seems limited in cultural diversity. But, I can totally understand why the drive to Seattle would be annoying. 8 hrs is a really long drive and traffic is already bad enough trying to get from one end of Seattle to the other. So, I can only imagine how bad it would be for you two to get out of the city to go back home.

Have been to Vancouver BC a few times and I agree. It was a very nice place to visit. LOL the laws up there is a bit different and they don't have directTV or any TV programming from the US up there. He'd probably be limited to something like the Vancouver Canucks or something like that.

I think my 'Escape from L.A." will be Portland.

Lived there briefly in '78 and fell in love with that city, it's inland (on a river, and there is something about River Cities that is really nice) so it's a little warmer and not as wet as Seattle. Had then and still has (from what I hear) a "hippie" feel to it.

Big enough to be cool and have culture and be a real city but still small enough to be clean and more or less 'friendly'. And flat out beautiful - like Seattle, but a little different - I remember when I moved there thinking how much it reminded me (land wise) of Virginia. Gentle, rolling mountains w/ lots of real honest to goodness trees. Timberland.

Not much work to be found in Portland but a great place to retire and finish out the adventure.

LOL I am moving to my farm soon, but it is funny even with the fact I will be on a private mountain completely cut off by all apppearances I will be 10 minutes from town......small islands are like that...

As are small towns . . . lol
I am in the hills - can't even get cell phone service at my house - yet I am about a 5 min drive to a regional airport. Terrain. blink.gif

Can't wait for a tinted sandblasted tank! The ones on the site are awesome! Fairy is super cute!

I am shooting for about this time next week. Fingers crossed.

I'm still working on getting everything up on the site for the clears. I was hoping to have it done by last night, but it didn't happen. My original goal was Wednesday and I should be done in a few hours, so I guess it is all good.

Is the reaper going to be available in regular size?

We tried it when first got started on a regular and it was very tiny and lost some detail. However, we have since dialed in the setting for the cutter and the software, so it might work better now. I will test it again later today and post back with results!

I sent you an email about changing my order from the Lizard to the Eagle. I'd also like to get the reaper if it turns out good.
