Paisila, I hope you didn't just drop in for the contest and you hang out and chat with us!

I will be around :) -I was here for the Santa's hat one also, but just lurking, hee hee. Even remembered to go find one. Once.

I saw there is a section on the website for how to videos coming soon, so, I might even be able to stop wasting niquid when filling my tank! lol (no, you do not get to ask my hair color lol)

I picture you with paisly hair!!!

OK you are still losing liquid during the fill? I wonder you are punching your cartos aren't you? If so is there a large crater around your punch? This could be the issue. If this is it, I assume you are pulling the carto down and filling from the top?? If so try pulling the carto up and filling from the bottom (so the battery end is going into the tank) holding it upside down into the carto is pulled back into place. Also are you using a syringe or removing the caps to fill (if you are removing the caps, then everything I just said will make no sense at all????

Ok, the first fill was a total disaster. The 1st refill actually went well! This second refill however, was, a hot mess lol. I got this carto in a PIF and it was pre "slotted"? with a dremel I presume. I have bought prepunched cartos but have never tried punching them myself. I fill by pushing the threaded end into the tank. Sometimes I bottle filled through the center hole, sometimes I took the bottom cap off. Have not used a syringe on these but that is what I'm used to - just didn't think there was room between that o-ring and the carto . . . . is there? Don't wanna damage it!!! (do you sell extra tank caps? lol)

OK IMHO opinion syringe is the cleanest way to go! You do not want to push the syringe through there between the orings and the tanks, what you want to do is pull the tank up just enough so the carto is inside the tank and you have opening to stick the syringe in. I will take a photo for you now and I promise... we get a video done tomorrow.

Not a fan of bacon?

alright then, let's try... bouquet of chocolates!

Actually I love bacon, but don't care for chocolate. For some reason though all bacon photos, just kind of turned my stomach. Guess I like eating it, not looking at it!

But it is the thought that counts so the chocolates were wonderful thank you!

Ok here are some photos for you...

The first thing you want to do is pull the carto into the tank, pull it down just enough so you can wiggle it and move it to side and fit the syringe in, but no further....

Next stick the syringe into the gap you created....

Then squirt your juice in!

In this photo you can kind of see the syringe in there all the way down to the bottom.

Fill until the juice is almost to the top of where the carto is sitting. The remove the syringe and push the carto back up into the o-rings.

In these photos I am filling from the top, so I am pushing the carto down into the tank so the threaded end end is sticking out further then usual. It will work the same way if you fill from the bottom, your threaded end will go into the tank just enough to fit the syringe in!

Oops I missed the backup... you hit the nail and the head and won my heart! Skittles are one of my favorites, especially the sour ones!

I like the sour ones too! some times I get a little carried away when I eat them... too many really tare up the roof of your mouth

Edit: I also fill my tank the way you do but I go from the bottom.

Yes they do! I am a big fan on all sour candies! But the skittle sours really got it right! My favorite snacking preference is anything salty... Peanuts, corn nuts and a dozen other salty treats! But when I am in the mood for something sweet, sour candies do the trick!

Night Willow - rest and heal! :)

Moorea, someone showed me how to go into stealth mode for some sale or another so ppl trying to count how many ppl were there wouldn't "see" me - now I don't know how to go back to normal! lol - so now I am ALWAYS lurking - even when it's not allowed! I will figure it out - and I may even change it back when I do . . . . ;)

Yes, I thought you'd like this paisley hair lol

Yes, the pics helped. I am probably going to fill from the bottom simply because the top was such a PIA to get in place, I don't want to mess with it with a full tank! lol Though I have heard it leaks less if you top fill and push the carto down until the hole in it is covered by the bottom cap - which makes more sense now that I see your pics! ;) Well, I will let you know how it goes - by the time I need to fill it again Sat. you may even have the video up! :) - thanks!!

The fusions prevent me from filling from the bottom. But as you know I acquired a new tank this evening and will be using ressurectors in it, so we will do a bottom fill and a top fill video.

You are welcome to lurk just as long as you say hello now and again... I was just giving you a hard time! It wasn't because you were lurking, I just assumed it was past 2am your time and you went to bed!

Yes, the paisley hair is awesome!

Glad the pics helped. We are going to do our best to do several "how to videos" tomorrow! Filling from the bottom should be OK, lots of people do it without issue.
