So we are thinking about getting rid of the tallboy size tank completely and making the XL tank 1 or 2mm smaller, which is a very small amount.
Here is the deal, when we were coming up with tank sizes we ordered SEVERAL different XL cartos The Resurrector, IKV MEGA KR-808, and the DC from smoketek. We designed the tank to fit the smallest of those cartos flush. And then we got a DC from madvapes and it seems it was made just a tiny bit smaller then the tanks we tested and did not fit into the XL without rubbing up against the inner o-ring, a potential flooding hazard and not very good for the life of the o-ring. So then there was a tallboy size. In addition, there is now also a Fusion XL, which will fit into the XL tank, but ONLY if you use the tank tool to put in it, with out it does exactly what the madvapes DC did.
Chris feels the 3 tank sizes are confusing and that by removing the 1 -2mm off of the XL tank it will take all the XL sizes. The 1 - 2mm will make very little noticeable difference in how much juice it holds.
I'd love to get input from those using the tallboy. Are you using it for something we have not thought of and would you be put off if there was no longer a tallboy tank?
