photos won't upload??

I am getting frustrated here, I have resized my photos down below the quoted size, and keep getting this error:

Failed to write file. Check disc quotas and permissions for the path: ./albumpics/thumbs/5/22da32767a87a01da23d37cea5b9d057_5021.jpg

I just don't understand what the problem is! Anyone have any advice??

I can't get a photo to upload either. I think I got a different message but after several tries, gave it up.

Try saving it to a different file format.
Image size (pixels) is not the only criteria. An image much also take up less than a certain amount of memory. Check the file size as well.

The maximum file size is really limiting and that's why I use an image hosting site (I use Photobucket but there's lot of free ones to pick from). Since my images aren't hosted here I don't have to worry as much about file size. Unless you're only going to post the occassional small image I'd sugest looking into it.

the criteria said 20kb or less, so I shrunk mine down to 19kb, lowered the resolution, renamed the file, still no luck. Yesterday, I uploaded 3 images that were larger, with no trouble at all, I am starting to think it's a forum issue, maybe it will work tomorrow.

I've never had any luck uploading images from my computer. The only way I got around the greif was to upload them to photobucket and use their "tags" to get them to display.

photo bucket won't work either. ugh. it keeps saying the image is too large but it isn't...............

I have had this problem on other foums in the past and it seemed to a problem with Firefox when ul images.
I used a different browser (IE) and it worked first time.

Might be an idea
