30 minute soak in vinegar and peroxide, a bath, a scrubbing, and another bath, and one of my beater mods took on a whole new look... datpatinatho.jpg

The DNA mod is a Zen ZNA. I'd think you could pick one up over at electronicstix but be prepared to drop a ton of dough. That futuristic mod with the gold center tube is escaping me right now, but I know you can get it on fasttech.

This is the 1st time I'm seeing the ZNA and its pretty awesome looking. Looks hefty too.

I found this cosmetics holder at TJ Maxx. It works well for small setups. I wish the Protank 3 box would fit in the drawers, it's where I keep all my extra Kanger coils so I won't lose them. (I took the insert out). The box is just a hair too deep for the drawers. Those Kanger boxes are too nice to throw away, and work well for storing the small stuff like drip tips, coils and stuff like that.

my melted aqua core...
if anyone was ever interested in what the insides of the aqua looked like.....i can't fix it...that internal "silicone" thing is one piece and melted.....air travels through it and up....in this case the air passage collapsed...LOL....aqua is now retired to "parts" storage

I hadn't used it yet, I was waiting for the battery. What was in there was Virgin Vapor Caramel Kona Milkshake. I drained the rest out, took everything apart and put it back together. Then I filled it with a light Crystal e-liquid. Same problem.

The dark liquid was only in there for about 15 minutes. I want to really like this tank, but I'm getting very little flavor, and almost no vapor. I have to clean the battery place out with a Q-Tip every time I take a hit off it. I'm doing long slow inhales, but it isn't working right.

Every review I read talks about the wonderful vapor, but I get better vapor from my other set ups.

That really sucks. I have two of them, and absolutely love them. Still prefer the Protank 3, but from an ease of use/refill standpoint, the 30b's are the best tanks I've used. Downside though is the Protanks come with a couple replacement coils already, whereas the iClears do not (which sucks, IMO).

Does it only start to leak once you've attached it and started vaping off of it, or is it from the moment you put something in there?

Also, and this may sound dumb, but I've done it accidentally once before and did get this issue you're mentioning... if you have the 30b on your Coolfire right now, is the numbering for the Ml level facing correctly, or is it upside down? If it's upside down that could be your issue. Jesus, did that even make sense? Lol.

If it were me, I'd call the place I bought and tell them the issue and see if there's a way you could get a replacement, or even a discounted replacement. If that doesn't work, order a couple of replacement coils (you'll need these anyways) and try a fresh one.

Hope this helps. I can imagine your frustration, but I think once you get it to the point where it works, you'll be happy. :)

I don't think it leaks until after I have started vaping. Yeah, the tube is on right side up. I hate to complain to the place where I got it, because he actually sent the charger to me for free because he didn't answer my questions about the device soon enough when I ordered it. It was really nice of him, and he didn't need to do that. He's a new forum supplier.

He doesn't have the coils in stock, because I looked. When I get enough money saved up, I want to get some flavors to DIY, so I will probably choose a place with flavoring which also carries the coils. I have always bought Kanger products, so it never occurred to me that Innokin didn't include extra coils with their tanks.

It's funny, but I keep hearing about how famous Kanger tanks are for leaking, but so far, I love all the Kanger tanks I have. I also hear about the wonderful vapor from this tank, but I'm not getting much at all. So far, this is the worst tank I have.
