Speaking of FT and focal, I got the parts for mine at those places. FT didn't have the rainbow TOBH yet at the time, and looking for a matching atty is how I first found focal.

Have had it since September. It was my first mech. I knew the hammers had problems, but I wanted to start on hard mode to learn quickly. The ergonomics of how it fits in my hand so perfectly make it worth the trouble to replace the poor parts of it. Having previously used box mods, I was used to an uncomfortable hand. Normally I wouldn't buy a clone that has a bad top cap, but there simply isn't anything else like the hammer. Also, authentics usually don't come in interesting colors. The worst part was having to take a hacksaw to a brass replacement chi-you top cap to get the hybrid adapter for it. But the hybrid adapter allows an 18650 flat top to fit perfectly in reverse assembly mode. I insulated the bottom of the hybrid adapter with 2 layers of Kapton tape, also from fasttech. I drilled a little hole so that I can use one of those Little Blue Screwdrivers to screw it in and out. I bought some 7.5mm OD 5mm ID magnets from indigo and am currently experimenting with what thickness I want to use. The pic was taken with 2x 2.5mm thickness magnets, but I think that makes the switch too long (though it does work with a longer screw, just looks awkward). Trying 1x 2.5mm thick and 1x 1mm thick next. Currently sitting at my desk with a filing block and a piece of 101 copper rod to try and make a copper firing pin for it. On Monday I will be mailing my hybrid adapter to a friend of a friend who has very poor vision and thus needs it much more than I do. Have some more parts on order from FT's sale, but not looking forward to hybriding it again. :(

Overall, it's worth the trouble to me due to perfect hand fit! The TOBH however, not so much. Can't put much juice in that thing because the air holes are soooo low. Also bought the rainbow version of the fogger v4/1plus but not really impressed with that either. Ordered the rainbow Sat 22 from FT and hope to have better luck with that, even though I know I will need to do some drilling. I just hope it's the same neochrome rainbow and not some cheap paint that will come right off. =/ It's not like anyone is going to review that product, so I am flying blind. But at least I will only be out 11 bucks this time if it's no good. I guess if it is paint, I will sand it off and pair it with some stainless mod, or give it to a friend/family member.

Is there some sort of problem with the switch on the Hammers? I was going to grab a clone for work. Really like how ergonomic they look.

Well, the spring they come with isn't very good. It does work though. It's just that if you want the pipe look with an 18650, you have to reverse the top cap and the firing button. Then the firing screw just doesn't quite make contact. There are a lot of workarounds for that. You could get a longer brass screw but I'm not 100% sure on the screw threading. M3 fit, M4 didn't fit. My M3 screw is a little loose though and kept needing to be screwed back in. I'm really not sure whether the Tobeco version uses maybe M3.5 or whether mine was simply loose because I screwed so many things in and out of it trying to find the best fit. Of course, different manufacturers have slightly different tube lengths and I know the black fasttech V2 hammer has a female screw that I could not find a replacement for and also has weird threading and misplaced vent holes (so don't get that version, rainbow heaven I think). I put the magnetic switch in because I was already going to be messing with the switch. It's not required by any means. Might be worth at least picking up a higher quality spring though, or making one out of thick copper wire. But not necessary. I'm making the copper firing pin so I don't have to use any sort of extender for the screw, and also to optimize my favorite mech mod. Maybe the original screw would work if the switch were shortened a bit, but I'm not sure.

The flavour and performance from the KangerTech ProTank Mini II still rocks on the little JoyeTech eGo battery. Love how small this is and how easily it fits in any pocket... even a suit pocket.
The iTaste 134 is on my coffee table within easy reach with either an Aspire Nautilus Mini or a KangerTech Aerotank V2
The MVP 2.0 is my normal carry along either with the Aspire Nautilus Mini or the KangerTech Aerotank V2.

It's still "new" so of course it's getting a lot of use today, but then again, this Venturi clone is also new and I'm a bit "meh" about it.
Sure, it sorta vapes like a kayfun, and I'm more about flavor than vapor, but even at .8 Ohms I'm kinda let down. I guess I'll go lower
when I rebuild it.

I can't see a good way to do a single coil but then again, I haven't looked around for other builds for it either.

I really like the look of that black and stainless steel combo.
