They do say “Everyday is a School Day” and indeed it can be.
The lesson I learned this morning when I dug out one of my Aspire Feedlink squonk kits is that if you haven’t used something for a while is that it is a good idea to either re-read the instructions or to re-familiarise yourself with how it works.
After wrestling to get the battery door open and inserting a battery, I encountered similar problems extracting the squonk bottle, but managed it, removed the top and filled it. I found it easier to get the bottle back than I remembered but thought nothing of it and settled down to read the Latest Post here.
While reading I gave the bottle a squeeze, took a draw absentmindedly - and got a really dry hit so I gave the thing a right good squeeze with the same result - apart from that E liquid poured out over my hand as it did when I upended the thing to extract the squonk bottle. Still puzzled I plonked the bottle into my old ashtray before setting off to get a wad of tissue … and in that ashtray was the screw in squonk bottle top with its metal feed tube!
Lesson learned I cleaned up, refilled, reassembled (properly this time), and am now enjoying a nice vape!
