Nice wood that ought to make some beautiful panels. I'm not a fan of the BB, but I have seen some truly nice custom panels that were commercially made for them.

I still have a bunch of the wild woods that I hobby crafted for over 50 years. Have some of most of these in the picture (but not all), and have a bunch more not in it. Some of these are from your side of the pond, some from the Land of Taz, some from the tropics and others from the PNW.

Delayed reply as I have been doing another review. .....the Aegis Solo Kit by Geekvape.....it's taken me half the morning as usual.

Some of those blocks look very special and of course they're begging for something to be made out of them. I'm thinking about getting a block of my choice and making my own mod or getting someone else to do it...I haven't quite decided yet..

It's the soldering that bothers me :)

Running the Inbox this morning (my only VW squonk) with newly customized panels, along with coffee, and an 8x10 resin "nebulosity" panel I did at the same time as the inbox panels:

I’m gonna have to snag a Gloom, if nothing else, for a beater. All my squonkers are too nice for some of my outings.
I don't know maybe just wait a couple of weeks to just make sure all is well here with my one.... But on the other hand it's only 22 dollars ✌

I could ... I just ordered some more inbox panels from FT that should ship this week, so perhaps when they arrive I could do another set and try to document the process with pics or a video ... but a lot of stars might have to align for that to work.

I'm sure that I could just go for it like you did and come up with my own process but it just would be nice to see some of the pitfalls and positives from the pioneer :D

Well, if I can do it without knowing what I'm doing, I'm sure you can :)

Here's a link to a couple acrylic pour vids that show dipping canvases/coasters into a pour --- which is what I did (except with art-resin) with the panels:

I made tape-tabs on the underside of my panels to facilitate lifting out of the resin:

and then laid the panels across (resin up) on upright plastic cups afterwards. You can experiment with cheap coasters and various techniques to get an idea of how things go. (and there's boatloads of acrylic pour and resin pour vids on youtube, often rather mesmerizing).

Lol...to be honest that's probably what I would have done but thank you that's really helpful :)

I am beginning to wonder why I asked really, I guess the pitfalls thing. I'm pretty handy so probably can do it the necessary without too much fuss

I'll post the results....I already have some resin in the house but I think it's just white. I do have some natural powder/liquid dyes though so might not need to go shopping.....we'll see :D

Elitar Pipe.JPG

When I first saw the Joyetech Elitar pipe mod, I said to myself "I must have one of those". 75W, 1x18650, takes 22mm tanks. I found the last one on the planet, for under $30 at that.

The Elitar tank that came with it is a neat design that allows it to work almost horizontally. It also gurgles incessantly. But it looks and works great with the Eleaf Melo3 Mini, which also works well when close to horizontal. Hasn't leaked either. Not that I have much trouble with tanks leaking.

I puff on it when I'm playing.
