So, here's something different to do on a Sunday. Help a luthier (loo-tier) decide on a layout.

Here's Josie with her pine body and composite ("Tigerwood") neck. In this first mock up, I have an "ashtray" bridge with an Artec telecaster bridge pickup, and a CaliG P90 pickup in the neck position. I would wood mount the P90, leaving a gap around the pickup. I like it, but not everybody else does. Also a control cover that I actually made for a different project.

Making its way into the pic was an Aria Oros Stealth mod with a TOBH Atty.

The second mock up features a pickguard to which I would attach a conventional Telecaster neck pickup. I would need to use a regular oval control cover.

There's an authentic Alpine RDTA with a Slim Piece clone standing on her.

Always looking for input. If you want to give me some, any opinions are helpful. PM me.

I like everything but that trapezoid control cover (imho, too geometric for a curvy tele, might work for something like a Flying V though). Love the pick guard color. Looks tomato red, maybe brick? Either way, beautiful!

That's some nice craftsmanship, now I'm wanting more guitars. This forum is deadly!

Makes a huge difference. Went from setting in the cabinet needing some love to getting used every day. Glad I finally decided to change it, because that dead rabbit is a sweet tasting RDA. View attachment 850055

I hate it when the snow teases with just a little dusting. Rig v2 with Dead Rabbit rta and Dinner Lady LT....and a 20S powering the setup.

Forget I said about the gloves! Snowing! In Usuahia (deep down in Tierra del Fuego) it was snowing a couple of days ago, and we're in spring! Autumn is really short for you guys while here is almost 5 months. We go from light clothes to full on winter gear from one day to the other.

Lucky! I’d take 5 months of autumn for the arctic chills here any day...snow is great but when it gets below zero I’m ready to bounce ha ha.
