Much about nothing, and two pics > Back in July 2013, I traded an original Innokin SVD away. It was the old telescoping type, not the v2 with the Evolv chip. I loved the look, but the vape left a bit to be desired (< understatement!). What I got in exchange for it was something I was really excited about (at the time). It was my first "Modder" mod. Up to that point, everything I owned was retail. It was called Dark Nyte, and was dual 18650, VV, and just something I wanted to try. It was different, and it opened the door to a whole new world for me. It led to a bunch of awesome Mamu mods, along with a load of other stuff (including an all-time favorite of mine from an Australian modder named Eric Moray). Funny though, but I always kind of regretting getting rid of that silly old SVD. Choppy vape and all, I just REALLY liked its look. I've seen many for sale since then, but always in the $50-70 range, which was more than I was willing to pay. A few weeks ago I stumbled upon one for $25. Brand new with shrink wrapper still on the box. Just for fun, I loaded it up. It's 21mm though, which I hadn't remembered (I was vaping cartos the last time I'd used it), so my topper options were limited. I tried an Erlkonigin, but that vape is so poor that it wasted the extraordinary flavor one gets from an Erl. I opted to go WAY old school, and pulled out an old Cerotank (Aspire BVC coils). Tall and skinny tank on a tall and skinny mod. I added a tall drip tip too, just for effect. It's actually hilariously tall, seen here next to a P3 in 18650 mode (for height perspective), but I'm having a bit of fun with it. It's FAR from a great vape, so I'm certain it will soon go up with some others to be looked at but never used. That was my intention, and also why I was unwilling to pay a lot for one. For laughs >>> That is all. Carry on. :D
