Is that "gun" blueing or anodising type blueing as a lot of chromers and metalcrafters out there can anodise alloys for quite cheap prices and home chroming isn't out of the realities it was before but still not something to be done lightly, gold plating is easy to do at home with a home dip or brush kit, not cheap mind but results are pretty good I have seen. Copper plating can also be done by a chromer usually as a lot of chromers over here offer other metal type plating and coating.

Google "how to blue stainless steal" and there's a video of a guy turning a nimbus atty blue with a torch. That's what I'm talking about. I have done it with some cheap igo caps for practice but wondering if anyone has successfully blued a kayfun lol
