A couple AGA-T2's in the mail today. I tried going full unoxidized, but too unstable. I just did a single juice burn on the tip at the bottom, and also from the wick hole up. Easy peasy, and vaping great. I did a 6/7 wrap on one with 30ga, and it came in at 2.5ohms. Too much, so I undid one turn and it dropped all the way to 1.7ohms. Seemed like a big drop for one turn, but 1.7 is pretty much in my sweet spot.

Caravelas are always nice! Kinda cool that you got two of them with the same number. I just couldn't get into the Chimpire mods. The colors left me cold.

Edit*** It occurs to me that last part of my post may have sounded harsher than intended. It wasn't intended to be harsh at all.

I'm liking my A8 less the more that I use it. Let me know how you feel about those AGA-T2's after a couple of weeks. They might be next to try for my non dripping times.

I didn't read it that way at all. I like the gold one better, but it got "appropriated". Gaudy colors aside, it works REALLY well, and I like that whatever battery I happen to have with me will fit in it. When I'm feeling a little more crafty, I'm thinking of putting a brushed aluminum finish on it and leaving the blue in the grooves.

Will do LLJR! It is darn simple to use. Needs a screw upgrade from the local hardware store, but there is a cool feature, that I think a lot of people, from what i read, are mistaking for a ground post, but it is an air vent with a screw that lets you control how much wicking you're getting. Neat little feature. And the 500 mesh squares from COV fit PERFECT without any trimming, except snipping the top off to the height of the pos post.

Oh good. Sad story about the gold one.

I kinda prefer the stainless steel/chrome looking things, or as my GF calls it, "They look like medical instruments".

Your air vent is the ground post for a silica wick setup. :)

The Aga looks really good on the Caravela. They should make an Aga with a plain top cap, that would look even cooler.

I saw a pic of the post, with a drop coming out of the hole. Not drilled through? It WOULD be a cool feature.. I see a tweak in my future...

I actually pulled mine out (it's just press fit in there) so I could run a u-wick. I suppose I could run a dual wick as well but then there's no way to refill. I may have to drill a small hole (Z-Atty sized) to give me the dual wick option.

I also modded the upper "deck" of the older version AGA-T (the threaded version) to be used as the bottom for a hybrid style AGA that fits a GP Paps and Caravela (BuzzKilla posted his on the Caravela forums).
