Wow, I didn't realize almost a year ago when I came to PIF that it was so new. This place has always seemed like tight knit communtiy. Here's to many more years of spreading love and good karma!I

The PIF THREAD was around before that, started by WhatAClumsyGirl (((Pam))), but the way we know it today, as a social group, is only one year old....TOMORROW! Squeeeee!
Happy Birthday PIF.....A place where people live by "Do Unto Others as You Would Have Them Do Unto You". The couple of months that I have lurked on the PIF threads has restored my faith in humanity. I have not had enough of anything to pif and have not wanted to take anything if I didn't have anything to give in return, but have gained so much from seeing how compassionate and giving so many of you are. May PIF's 2nd year be even bigger and better then it's first....
Im more of a lurker. I tend to get long winded at times..probably cuz Im no longer smoking, but vaping! YAY!!! Even tho its on a 510 passthru. I had a bad mod order fall thru (so far, outcome is yet unknown) troubles fell on me (like many here) and I asked for someplace for a mod to purchase. I truely did not expect a PM from someone (thank you trouble2k..I should have mail tomorrow, as the maillady informed me as I was literally standing at my mail box..lol) let alone have her inform me she has a mod she will send me! I seriously was in tears. I was touched, moved and so very grateful. I know it'll save me a ton in batteries along and save me from being tied to a plug in or the computer all the time. My husband confiscated my 510kit I won..and gave it to my daughter (who recently had a baby and wants to quit smoking for my grand baby in the worse way), so to her it went. What I left out of that sap story was my son in law wanted to join the band wagon too..so I put together a makeshift 510kit of what I had laying around and shipped that off too. Knowing it wold leave me short, it was worth it...very much so!
It was at the point that trouble2k PMd me with her most graceous offer even tho I ask one..
The simple, short answers to my questions that I asked, I knew , even tho I dont join in alot of the postings...I have some friends that understand and know!
Now do I NEED this? No..tomorrow is my INBOX day! My VERY FIRST MOD!!! WOOT!!! lol Do I want it? Yes! for me? No. For a co-worker who has just recently gone thru a divorce and went back to smoking over a year ago. He cant afford the cost of cigarettes and wants to vape and has turned to me for help. This would go to him to aide him and perhaps put a smile on his face once again.
PIF is a great place with AMAZING people and HAPPY BIRTHDAY PIF!!! I can understand why PIF has been around for a year and will be for many more years!

Well B, it looks like you and I had the first discussion on the PIF thread. I didn't even remember that!! It has been fun knowing you and all the others who have come and gone. It seems so long ago. I remember pming around trying to find a 5th 'founding father' to start the group.
I was reminiscing about being a newbie and how we were all carto hogs! Everyone hung around the old thread waiting for Clumsy to put up her 5 pack of cartos. lol. And my beautiful ecig bag that L'Bug got sucked in to making for everyone. She pifed one and then we all had to have one.
I am kind of surprised that so many of us are still around when there is so much turnover on the forum. That says a lot about the community here.
