I believe that the tekk (or tekkeon) ran on 2 18650 batteries (but they were sealed in) and I believe at one point was available in vv....
I however don't know if anyone is still producing them...

Close but not the same...I was talking about the flask shape one that had 2 18650 batteries in it not the single one...
I think nuck made a couple and xeno made quite a few....cov and nhaler carried them for a short while... if you Google search tekkeon mod quite a bit pops up on them...

NOTE: Not that I would endorse the tekk anyway...it had some inherrant problems.... but it did fit what the poster had asked for in a vv mod running dual 18650 batteries in the US...
Standard 510 or fat batt? The libertyflights Riva 510 Lite kit, at $30 after the discount code, is a pretty solid price.

If it's the one sold by NHaler in their 510 section, sounds like it's a small 510 package with one battery and cig pack form factor PCC. Drew at NHaler would answer any PM trying to find out more about it; he's an up-front person, tends to carry decent products. Battery run time, inability to use lower ohm cartos (like Boge 2 ohm), the need to pick up at least one extra battery (for when the first one is discharged) would be the things I'd think about.
If your friend smokes more than a handful of cigs a day, and if she can deal with a manual fat batt, the Riva is a better price point.
Alternately, the Varivolt 900 mAh that NHaler has on the same page is pretty decent looking, though that would be treated as the third, backup battery -- still need a base kit to get the eGo/Riva-class charger. An LF base kit, plus the varivolt to be able to try higher voltages, is a sweet combo, for a new person. (LF likely also has varivolts now, I haven't looked). I believe NHaler's CC is smoke5 or smoke05 -- 5% off. It should be posted in the NHaler forum.

Time to restock my attys. We bought 2 kits when we started last Dec and about 10 spares. They've lasted us almost all year. I'm looking for good quality 510 regular and LR attys for standard eGo's. Sales are nice, but I prefer quality.

well my friend ended up at the smoke shop and bought a 401 kit hope it works out for her but on the plus side I have a ton of 401's to give her for back ups
